On my bedroom floor…..Goodness me, where is her brassiere ?
It’s not about how much a player costs, it’s how well they perform.
Personally, I’m going to judge the transfer window after I’ve seen the team play a few games.
Bertie there is a middle ground though, it doesn't have to be feast or famine. Nobody wants us spunking money left right and centre but given the premier league riches I have to say I thought we would find the money/wages for Doyle who we've had for a season, know his attributes and more importantly his character and work ethic.Yep you Want your cake and eat it. You can only spend money once and Wilder spend more than enough, which is something which you seemingly agree with
Totally agree and who is to say we will not find money to spend on more players, it is after weeks before we kick a ball in anger. But the Einstein of all gloom merchants wants to know why we have not spent fortunes now.Bertie there is a middle ground though, it doesn't have to be feast or famine. Now we still might and that for me would be the definition of a good window in the circumstance Doyle, Slimane, Traore on permanents with fees involved then 4 or 5 loanees. I don't think that is too much to ask or unrealistic.
Yep agreed, it happens every season. The fact we found money to buy Anel last summer and kept Illi and Sander gives me hope that things will be looking up soon.Totally agree and who is to say we will not find money to spend on more players, it is after weeks before we kick a ball in anger. Apologies edited some additional content which agrees with “our” Doyle commentsYep agreed, it happens every season. The fact we found money to buy Anel last summer and kept Illi and Sander gives me hope that things will be looking up soon.
For me Doyle is as risk free a 'big signing' we can make. We know he will be straight in the first 11 and he's the right age to either play for us for a decade or sell on at a profit. Injury aside the chance of him bombing seems remarkably slim
That balboni guy is so boring
is he Fallowfield?I wouldn’t worry about it. It won’t be long until he’s banned again.
Doing this now. I hate it when when someone takes over a thread I'm interested in.Just put Balboni on ignore and this threads now gone from 16 pages long down to 3![]()
Yeah probs , Phallusfield is on everyones‘s ignore list so had to comback as another dick.is he Fallowfield?
Calm down I've heard you are getting Troy Deeney. We are getting promoted and spending less than £5m on two players from Scandinavia mate, in what is ‘allegedly’ our only planned permanent signings of the summer.
How much did Ndiaye cost us?We are getting promoted and spending less than £5m on two players from Scandinavia mate, in what is ‘allegedly’ our only planned permanent signings of the summer.
It's the financial situation that's the worrying bit. Have you ever heard of a club getting promoted to the prem and having to act like this?
Or we might use the money for three signings that keep us up … IF he goesWe’ve already pressed self destruct if we let Ndiaye go
I’m sure you’re always right mate.No good player has played in a shit league ever am I right
Funny how us old uns are still scarred by that 1960s experienceI’m 69. Old enough to remember Jones and Birchenall being sold in the 1960s and Deane/Fjortoft in the 1990s. So when you say “same old”, you mean a long time ago, rather than anything the club has done in recent decades, and completely irrelevant to the Ndiaye situation, which in any case appears to be down to the player, not the club.
