This might be the last time we are going to see our boy in a United shirt , rumours are gathering about his future , stalling to sign an extension, his agents trying to move him on to bigger things !

I would hate to see him go , but its the way of the world , and if we do sell in the summer at least we will get some cash for him !

Can we hold on to him, and how can we do it ?

If he does go he is going to take some replacing , in fact he cant be replaced , we wont get anyone like him .

If he has to go i hope he goes abroad, then we don't have to watch him play for another club !

I do think he will go but at the end of the day he has a year left and won’t be going anywhere unless it’s a big fee, will be 30+ million.

Boreham Wood have hired a small social media marketing team to fuel the rumours on Twitter.

I doubt we'd get £20 million to be honest given he'll have less than a year left on his contract and be the lowest paid by a large margin.

He'll either stay and go on a free to Marseilles but I suspect if a mid to higher EPL club comes in for him he'll want to go. And we should let him because he hardly owes us after we messed him around on his last contract. I'm pretty sure that doesn't inspire loyalty. If he wants to leave, we should get a decent fee and send him off with our blessings.

We get this start of every coming transfer window. Was Berge last year, Ndiaye this year.

Whatever the lad does I hope he does it for career growth and not just to have a big club shirt with his name on the back. He could do with a season with us in the prem where he gets a full term of experience playing against the toughest competition. Somewhat selfishly I hope he takes that but who can resist a prem club when a couple years ago you were a nobody.

I get bored of constant rumours, specially now days.

Ismaela Sarr and Joao Pedro were being touted to Liverpool and everybody for £40 million last year

Staying at Watford in a team that has underperformed has certainly not helped them, and these are the sort of players we should now be targeting if Berge and Ndiaye leave.

As I said in a previous message, first thing to do is build an unstoppable Championship team with a sprinkling of Prem quality, and then come back stronger after the inevitable relegation next season

Because Fabrizio has made some half arsed comment on twitter doesn't mean he's going anywhere. For me he needs to prove he can cut it in the prem 1st then maybe in January clubs will start seriously looking at him.
No it was mentioned on football heaven, the club has tried to extend his contract when the embargo was lifted and his agents refused to negotiate .

Yes on RS said Carl asaba had said he won't be here next season as his agents are determined to get him to a better team in the summer

Would genuinely offer him 75k a week. Three year extension. Peanuts for a player of his calibre. £30m release if we go down

neither of those 2 good enough for the premier league

This may be controversial but the lad is unproven at the highest level. We all love him, but he’s a small fish in footballing terms. I’m not sure we’d get a lot of money for him. Keep him and let the contract run down, or convince him to sign a healthy contract with favourable clauses. I’m terms of running the contract down, he could be more valuable to us if he stays and keeps us up next season.

To be fair, why would they negotiate anything before we've confirmed what division we'll be in? Zero chance he stays around if we somehow mess it up. If we go up there's a lot more money he can ask for and likely other offers to pit us against. It's not in his benefit to negotiate now even if he wants to stay.

Yeah, because we're really gonna sign Premier League quality aren't we ?
My message says we should build an unstoppable Championship team

To be fair, theyre not exactly part of an unstoppable championship team either.

They're good players though, as an example
Watford are an absolute basket case so I wouldn't be too worried about their inability to perform there, they did well enough to have some gigantic clubs after them previously, so they obviously have something about them
