I judge them tonight because they're playing exactly the sort of team they are no longer good enough to compete against, as shown tonight.

On the other hand last time we went up our first 11 was more than competativve but our back up squad which we had to increasingly rely on in the second season, along with poor signings resulted in us achieving relegation with aplomb. Should we go up this season arguably we don't have the inadequate second string around our neck. We don't have a second sorting at all! With some astute loans and.a few inexpensive signings, it might be an opportunity to set us up for the future.

Going up means 20 players leave and they are replaced with the "average" that the Championship has to offer and we go down with an average Championship team.

Being completely honest, and realistic, these are the only players that could make any kind of impact in the PL. I don't necessarily think all the above should be first XI but some are adequate as squad players. I can't see us doing a Forest and having a complete clear out so I think even that list, and I've been extremely lenient with some on it, is wishful thinking sadly.

Maybe next season we look at some players outside of the British Isles. Berge and Anel 2 .good buys. Berge first came he was phenomenal, Anel same. His positional sense couldn't be any worse if he turned up on the away end concourse half way through the game.

He's absolutely clueless at the disciplines of defending. Hecky or Geary or someone who knows how to play fullback needs to re-teach him the basics of defending.

You might just about get away with Baldock-Anel-Egan-RND+New signing in the PL. New signing either LCB or LWB. The rest however lack basic football intelligence. Wes was an absolute pillock. But Robbo could have lashed that ball at any time into row z.
