I’m happy to slate the boys when they aren’t pulling their weight but thought they were all fantastic tonight, much more like what we ALL want to see. First half was good football and second half a good battle.

I've always been more of a performance and effort guy ....and not just obsessed with results.
Must admit I was impressed with us in that 1st half tonight, pity we can't maintain that style and standard.
We'd concede a few but outscore most teams playing entertaining football.

Agree.....I still think Hecky is average and I'm far from convinced but he's got us this far so surely deserves his chance in the PL.

Also a positive that many don't mention is how Hecky has similarities to Southgate in that he's brilliant at dealing with the pressure.
Wilder was passionate and emotional (which I like), this is great when a team is winning but Wilder looked ill when his teams start losing
where as Hecky is like a wooden dummy always playing a straight bat giving nothing away, it's boring but being grounded is what's needed.

Hecky summed it up perfectly in his interview on sky, we need to stay on an even keel and don’t get too carried away with the wins or losses.

This place is just way too extreme emotionally after every match, we’re definitely going up or gonna struggle to make the playoffs depending on the result.

No one is saying you can’t give an opinion on performances and call it shit if it’s shit.

It’s the way over the top, toys out the pram stuff that is just not necessary. On Saturday we were still 4 points clear in 2nd, but some are just giving up, wanting Hecky out and ready to hand Boro promotion.

We all care and hurt after defeats, but some can handle it better than overs.
