Trouble After Game? (Spurs)

We don't know what happened, so let's not speculate on that. I will, however, indulge in a bit of speculation as to this guy's motives for plastering his beaten-up father on Twitter. Is the attention really worth it? I doubt it. I suspect it leaves him feeling quite hollow.

Enjoyed the "wonder if we will hear anything from @SheffieldUnited after this" or words to that effect, later on in the thread. Like what do you want the club to do? Ban all its fans? Give them the place in the next round by way of apology? We don't even know if it was United fans who did this (although I'll happily retract that if it turns out it was).

Agree. Seem more angry at the club than the police which I find bizarre. Say anything on there though and the keyboard hardmen and bizzy bodies will have an annuerism.

Lucky he didn’t get a kidney punch.

Joking aside it’s not nice to see. That said, we have no idea if he was mouthing off and deserved it (doubtful looking at him, but we don’t know the full story).

Agreed, sad to see this but we have no context or the full story.

Hope the old boy is alright and if it was just a random attack for no other reason than they were Spurs fans then I hope the culprits are found and banned.

BUT, the last cup game we played them I saw spurs fans in a similar place where this happened walking up near berlins on arundal gate, not hooligans but just normal spurs fans, mouthing and starting trouble with normal blades, blades hooligans turned up and there was punches thrown and spurs quickly shut up and were no longer trying to start on random Blades.. moral of this story is cockneys are the mouthiest bastards known to man and we don’t know if a group of them have started on some blades got slapped and the old boy some how got caught in the middle..

We really do have some subnormal individuals amongst our following.
Why? I’ve never hit anybody in my life and don’t intend to.

If this guy was causing trouble, then what can you expect?

As I also said, maybe he wasn’t, in which case, it’s terrible.

Seen a lot of youths wandering around recently before games. Was about 30 of them marching up London Road on Saturday, looking for god knows who.
Prior to the Wrexham game there was a gang of Lads near the town hall who police on horseback were talking to in a light hearted manner. As I walked down the Moor, the lads were behind me, acting the hard man and it was obvious they were looking for trouble.

With last night's incident I don't think anyone should jump to any conclusions just because of something reported on Twitter

Hmm🤔 So by that reckoning the look of someone is a deciding factor in whether they deserve to be smacked or not.
Phook me, I despair.
Violence has no place in society let alone a game.
Footballs are for kicking, not people.Mad concept I know but I wonder if more people might consider it.
UTB.🙏

The silence from Berlins on this matter is deafening

I didn’t say the look, I said he did not look like someone who would cause trouble. But that’s two very different things. We don’t know the full story, so I’m not sure why we’re getting outraged. Who’s to say this guy didn’t hit someone first? We don’t know anything.

Ahhhh
All makes sense now
A (drugged up) “black guy”

WTF has skin pigmentation got to do with it / owt ?
Everything if you're offering an accurate description of a scene. Same as 'drugged up skinhead' (WTF has his hairstyle got to do with it?), 'drugged up fat bloke' (WTF has his weight got to do with it?), 'Drugged up woman' (WTF has her gender got to do with it?), 'Drugged up member of the royal family who wasn't sweating' (WTF has his status and condition got to do with it?).

None of the above offends me. Does it offend you?

Personally don't like to see any violence, but the internet clout tiktok era of performative hooliganism so cringy. Loads of little kids filming themselves kissing their stone island badges while some audio from football factory plays.

If it was unprovoked I hope whoever did it gets caught no place for that, but people have to take responsibility for themselves too, if you don't want to get banged, then don't chat shit.

👍You didn't quite put it like that but I now get what you meant.Semantics🙏
And I agree, little context.

Not the team….

The fans…

This is utter bullshit.

its extremely sad, its a shame that minority cant behave & make us all look like thugs

I would expect United to hand out a life ban if they find who did it.
Why? It didn't happen in the ground, it happened well away from there. Have the police said it's football related hooliganism yet? If a gobby Spurs fan gets sparked out in a Brimington chippy, en-route to the Lane, by someone who supports Chesterfield, would he expect to be banned from their ground?
