We have made a bright start to the season, 4 points out of 6 and the team hasn't performed as well as they can yet. So many online rumours of players leaving etc are making it depressing and the fact we seem to be in a financial crisis doesn't make it any easier but when you see how money has affected football it really is sad. The fans are now being made to pay extreme prices to fund players. Our season tickets at £300-£400 don't look that bad when you compare to some others, but is still far to much for League One football. If we average anywhere near 17,000-18,000 this season it will be a good effort, the loyalty of some of our supportersis incredible. 18,000 to see us play Shrewsbury and then 1500+ to go to a heartless bowl in Coventry is special support and we can all look forward to the away games such as Brentford where we can create an atmosphere. Football is slowly dying. Kids would rather watch Manure on TV than watch United or Wednesday gaes. I love my football but what is happening is sad.
