I'm mostly shake, rattled & rolled but during down time I'm shaken but not stirred. Hope that clears things up and thanks for asking.

i am so surprised how bloody petty United fans have become. i wasn't in the UK when we got to the semi final V Hull whilst in the third tier but surely at that time we were the TV darlings?
Why have we got so many softies nowadays?? What is wrong with a club having a couple of film actors owning their club? They are currently in the 5th tier for God's sake.
Really disappointing to see we are becoming such a feeble bunch of supporters and crying that Wrexham players expected us to roll over.....surely the Wrexham players were only answering questions being posed by the press over the last couple of weeks and never really meant to show arrogance that we seem to be claiming.
I think the constant access to something like the 'view from' has made the internet blades more sensitive

you cant be arrogant cheats. using every trick in the dark arts. then expect it not going to fire the players up. ive said before this was 12 yr old younger brother who finally beaten his 18yr old older brother. starts giving the big un & you want to smash them by a matter of principle

Funny how a few of them are saying that tweet is from a month before but the date the club tweeted it is 30 th of Jan so clearly a lie

The Sheffield Derby is one of the best in the country. I’m obsessed with them and want them to lose all the time. Firmly believe we should still flash up “Today’s Latest Detaols” and their score on the scoreboard when they are losing.

The rivalry elevates us from two middling, moderately successful upper Champ / lower PL clubs. I love it.

I think the hype around their owners (I actually like what they’re doing as owners) has given their fans an exaggerated ego. Because of the ‘love in’ we’ve been the pantomime villains for the last two weeks. And that’s exactly what it became. The media, the officials, every other fan (apart from maybe Notts County) wanted us to get knocked out. It was bound to wind our lads up, I know it wound me up! So I was happy Billy called them out ⚔️

I dont understand sheffielders, united and pig alike, who claim not to care about the other team. The passion is what makes it a proper derby, I'm happy to admit I 'care' about them in the sense that I want them to fail miserably at every turn. It gives me great satisfaction.
This 100%

The trouble is there’s a shitload of fuckwits in this world and twitter gives a lot of irrelevant people the chance to talk shite to a much bigger audience than what they have in their actual life.

Extremely well put.

Also folk describing 'Blades fans' and how they act, as though we are a homogenous bunch, all reacting in an identical way, is wearisome in the extreme.
Soz you are finding life so wearisome....clearly, i missed the word 'some' out from my message. Apologies

I now feel “ petty” “ ashamed” and “ rattled”. I’m going to have to drink more

What a good idea - Im old enough to remember the old guy who used to put the scores up on boards at the side of the Bramall lane end and they had letters to distinguish each match ( letters printed in the programme) but everyone knew which letter the pigs were. The anticipation as he got the numbers out was amazing and of course resulted in either great cheers if they were losing or groans if they were winning.

What if, what if... they're calling us rattled because they are in fact rattled themselves? WHAT IF??

A proper 'I know you are, you said you are, but what am I?' scenario if ever I saw one.

I'm a View From collector, that's my job, don't like my views don't read my blog, what the matter, too challenging for you?

*If you haven't seen this particular James Acaster stand up bit you every right to think I'm mad
I haven't seen it, but I get the idea!

Caring too much - ie. frothing at the mouth over a few comments - is cringeworthy.

Not caring at all - or pretending to be aloof and above it all- is also lame. It's football.. a bit of drama adds spice and makes it more interesting. I'd hate to be a 'nice' club whose fans are well liked by everyone. How boring.

Still care a million times more about United though like.

Pigs aside, it's worth noting that all the other recent spats I can think of came from us simply responding to others shithousery. We don't actually instigate much on our own (except maybe the odd kidney punch to a granny here and there).

To list a few-
Coventry: fans actively trying to disrupt our players under the guise of a 'protest', we respond with a few tongue in cheek chants about ownership. They get their knickers in a twist.

Norwich: team time wastes, feigns injury and generally shithouses to the extreme. Wilder points it out as do our fans on the return fixture for a bit of fun. They get upset for some reason?

Forest: fans invade the pitch and attack our players. Yes we're totally the bad guys here..

Wrexham: To be honest I don't think they were that bad. The Spurs post came off as cheeky more than anything else and shit talking is surely just part of the game (depends a bit on what was said), but Billy is also not the bad guy for not sucking up to the media, and for calling it out. They can hardly expect to give it and not get anything back in response.
I was at a work event on Tuesday night and a pig (who didn’t know, at this point, that I am a Blade) told me he’d be keeping an eye on the tv showing Sky Sports.. not because his lot were playing (“we will win that easily”) but rather because he was hoping for a Wrexham win! Obsessed…

Mind you.. I had their match tagged on LiveScore as I was hoping for a Fleetwood win..

Rattled or obsessed is just another description of passion, & without passion the game is nothing. I have no feelings either way for Wrexham or their fans, but it is a good story & of course they will have enjoyed all the media attention it brought them, to the point of going way over the top with their deeds/words, which was totally understandable for a club in their position. We got away with one on their "pitch" but the outcome on Tuesday was never in doubt, but for the ref they wouldn't have landed a glove on us.

Some of the best atmospheres at the Lane recently have been when we’ve been “rattled”. My throat still hurts from shouting at the ref on Tuesday
