Morgan summed it up on the commentary. Little bobbles, flicks, final balls and decisions.

We couldn't quite get it to fall for us today. Didn't think our overall play was bad but final 3rd we lacked the right choices. Too often deep crosses into the box when keeping it to feet would have opened them up better.

Rotherham are no mugs though either and have seen improvements of late.

Bogle made a few bad choices not just right at the death, which if he had played it across goal we had 2 runners to tap in.

It's a point though and it's 1 more on the way. We are not going to win every game no matter who the opposition is.

The gap will close if Luton win (rest of teams have played 1 more game compared to us this weekend) but we would still hold 10 points lead.

We just need to focus on us it's entirely in our hands.

There is gonna be twists and turns no one is promoted on 58 points.

Intensity of a 2nd place team attempting to gain promotion?

Alls not lost, quite a few top 6 teams have been there & lost. We just didn’t get out of second gear, but it’s a clean sheet & another game down

apart from nidaye weve nothing up front 2 possibly 3 more strikers needed if we get to the premier league rotherham are nothing special and weve failed to score against em in 180 minutes 🙄
Missing Jebbo, Osula & Brewster today. After Swansea we’ve hopefully got 2 of the 3 back.

Definitely need more quality though next season IF

If someone had put away one of the 2 or 3 chances Berge made, then we’d have all been happy with how comfortable that was.

We had enough chances, didn’t take any of them & still got a draw, away from home in a derby game.

I’m alright with it tbh.
For me best chance of the game was Anels header. Dunno how he got it so wrong.

Are fans really writing off Oli McB again?

Playing a physical direct Rotherham team in a derby who are scrapping to stay up.

Also Rotherham got a point at Watford last week and thrashed Blackburn.
OK?

I have always felt this year that when it comes to winning against some of the teams that like to physically go up against us we have missed Billy. Not the 2023 version but Billy pre 2021.
Ndiaye and Oli great against new possession based play it out from the back top knot wearing sleeve tattooed multiple pronouned fuckers. But against the more hardened shit housed centre halves Bill used to eat for Breakfast and would probs have scored at least one today, had a scrap got booked and rodded away fans.

Bring on the next another game down another point on board

Don’t think Jebbo or Osula would have had an impact maybe a fit on form Brewster could have
Our midfield was poor mainly as Osborne
had a stinker improved somewhat by the arrival of Macatee

It felt far too casual. We were happy to knock it about but weren't throwing bodies forward or moving the ball about with any real pace to it.
The performance was awful TBH and the management team need to look at them selves on this one. Boro already 1 up as well.

This season, or when the kid actually grows into the player that he can be, which could be 2-5 years?
I just meant he’s another option mate, once we have Brewster & Jebbo back he’s 5th choice but he’s another option and a bit of a wildcard

Try and be optimistic 👍🏻

Optimism is not an issues with me, but how anyone can please tell me that the performance from the team and management today was good enough would be interesting to say the least?

Can talk about intensity in our game lacking but I think there was also an eye on them countering too.
The are good at going from back to front so I think there was a bit of reluctance to commit too many forward at times too.

We weren't that bad, we had large spells of possession and had spells of pressure. But we didn't unlock them enough.

We have no god given right to win any match. Teams will feel they have to raise their game too because we are 2nd today Rotherham it's also a derby.

I dread to think how some fans would react had Rotherham won it. They had that chance in 1st half.

Just wanna prepare some people that we will probably play poor at least once before the seasons end and lose....

I thought he had a decent game at both ends of the pitch for us.
Midfield was the issue for me today, along with Bogle doing his best Baldock impression in the final third, not the front two.
I don't have a big gripe with playing Osborn but I felt he wasn't able to effect out play going forward.
McAtee from the start would have been better if he was fit enough.
