Well sizzle me bum with a Ragman’s sousaphone wrapped in barbed wire, he was joshin all along.

If Ndiaye is happy sign a new contract

Happy with this would have liked one or two in on loan but have faith the embargo will be lifted and takeover goes through and I think we'll have enough to crash land into the big league

Crash land? I want to glide into town like an oligarch’s yacht arriving in Monaco harbour. Sander in the engine room. Captain Hecky at the wheel. Mike Ashley vomiting overboard after 25 Carlings.

🚂

It’s not a shame as he will help us in the PL. As will Ndiaye. It’s one less £20m midfielder we have to find.
He's not a 20m midfielder, evidently, and will not help us as much as a different kind of CM would as we struggle to have 30% possession

What happened to the Prince selling our assets?

A few premier league managers seem to disagree with you!

Great outcome :)
No players out, no players in - means I can do something useful tonight rather than watch the yellow tie brigade on Sky Sports News all night! 🤣

very good news from the club i reckon that both sander and illiman have been told they can go in the summer if we dont get promoted now its time for sander to start performing everybody knows he has it in him he just doesnt apply himself enough on the pitch hes got the ability to drive us on to automatic promotion cant see it happening but what a bonus it would be if we could bring o brien in as well

I'm not seeing this as good news until the club sorts out the embargo. Surely they will within the 30 day limit that EFL stipulate. Once they sort that out then this will be good news.

N'Diaye is happy because the world is his oyster.

After next season he can leave on a free. Just imagine that?
N'Diayes agent can say , instead of paying £20 million + £20K a week.

As there's now no 20 million transfer fee, then if you pay my player £75/ K a week over 4 years....you have yourself a bargain.
By then most clubs will have seen how he copes in the higher PL, if he performs then £75K / a week is realistic and fair.
If he's underwhelming, then he simply re-signs for us on £20K a week + lucrative bonuses.

N'Diaye holds all the power. Basically the only way he can lose is if he has a long term injury, then he'd have wishes he signed his long term contract offer with us.

Well we are now actively turning bids down. So we must be confident of getting it sorted out.

Well I feel quite happy, confidence has gone up, think we might beat rovrum on Saturday now, doesn't take much, does it.

Happier now Andy67 ?

After all this panic
Basically nothing has changed from the last statement.

In fact the Prince has continuously said over and over that

Any one of our players could potentially be sold BUT only if buying clubs meet our valuation
AND we have adequate replacements lined up that will improve the squad and improve our chances for success.

The Prince has also made it clear several times that the club is under no pressure to sell.
Now that is interesting one because we don't really know how much pressure there is (in reality) to sell.

Also people like Andy and others refer to the Princes poor finances
but if we are about to be taken over then there must be a point where the Princes financial situation is irrelevant.
The Prince finances only become relevant if there was never any takeover or the takeover has failed or will fail.

The suggested non sales of Berge and N'Diaye suggest 2 things
1: Either everything is fine financially, maybe the embargo is just a technically. Prince is very confident the takeover will be agreed soon then the embargo is cleared.
2: or as a club we're like a ship heading for the rocks but the Prince prefers to close his eyes and continue in that direction.

Whilst great to hear, Lets no get carried away just yet boys and girls.

We are Blades after all, and there's a good few hours left........

If only Brisblade had waited another 30 minutes before blanky time, he could've had a beautiful little bit of shut eye, knowing our clubs potential collapse has apparently been averted at the eleventh hour.
"Wake up Brisblade wake up!!!!!
I've actually PM’ed him for a laff 🤣
