I'm hearing rumours from my sources that the Prince has been trying to flog this thread to Netflix to raise a bit of cash. Apparently, the deal fell through because the CGI budget for all the tears would have been astronomical.

It’s a crazy time to be a Blade undoubtedly. I think I take a slightly more positive view, my best guess is the Prince expects the sale to go through, but the only way to fund already committed transfer fees and day to day running of the club is to either use assets or put his own money in, he’s not willing to put any more of his own money in so he’s been pulled into negotiating with the EFL and new owner about the best way to resolve cash flow issues.

It makes sense to me to sell an asset to cover cash flow and then reinvest some in more cover, but that’s reliant on other clubs and it’s also late in the day, I just hope it isn’t too late
