A lot of that is inaccurate.Last time we were in the Prem the bottom two were SUFC at around 70 millon and Burnley at over 90 million. I haven't seen a team with as low a wage bill as SUFC in the Prem for some time.

I agree with your point though: the correlation between transfer spend and league position isn't as strong as that between wages and league position. You have an owner that can provide both and you are on to something

Assuming that these are the wages of the first team squad, what are we paying at present ?
They may refer to all registered playing staff, so we are in the dark I fear.
Surely the biggest factor is quality and Monet doesn’t always buy that, but it sure helps !!
If we’ve got a “ Monet” I’d happily flog it to boost the wages !

of course its when not if unlike wednesday our longest time out of the prem 15 years comes so comes round round pretty often

It's, just not us...

Or at least it used to be, feet on ground please, none of this big headed over confidence please..

Keeping hold of the ground and training ground, before its bulldozed and turned into 2/3 and 4 bed houses.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the tallest advertising hoardings - for McBurnie to jump when celebrating.
