Any traveling supporters coming down for this one might like to know that there is a large free music festival in town on the same day. Look online for Colchester Free Festival.
Just.10 mins walk from the train station.
If you were planning on coming for the weekend best book your hotel early as places will get full.

I addition anyone requiring info on Parking best pubs etc.... just ask.

We've been looking at staying the night, but so far, everything is either daft prices or just about affordable b&b/holiday inn. Any lesser known cheap options?

Depending upon your travel plans, Ipswich is only 15mins up the road/short train ride so might be cheaper. Chelmsford is close in the other direction. I'll be stopping at the in laws - free B&B which is nice.
