Ok let's not forget its all about options, but I'll start the debate by offering Fleck.
As someone who needs moving on,and off the payroll, I'm sorry, but his time is up here at the lane, thanks for your service, but there's no way he can play with us at this level,he was a steal from Coventry and yes we have no doubt had the best out of him,but there's no place for sentiment. So I vote Fleck!

I vote nobody. Hecky said keep the squad together.

I don't get what all this player bashing is all about recently, we're second from top, we should be supporting the whole team, not constantly trying to pick holes and call out weak links.

It's toxic on here at the minute.

What sort of negative shite post is this……

I smell pork…….

I agree Fleck and Stevens are about done but given our catastrophes with injuries we need numbers, especially when they know our system even if they are losing the levels of speed to be as effective as they have been.
Wouldn't part with anyone but bust a gut to bring in a striker on loan who can net 8 to 10.

Nobody should go until the season is over, things are looking good and it could wreck the squad mojo.
Callum Lang is the one I would like to grab off Wigan based on the other night.

No need to get rid of anyone. We don't know what will happen injury wise and quite a few of the obvious candidates contracts are up in the summer and will be leaving anyway.

Here, here. Automatic spot playing like absolute bowlers, scoring goals and players are getting picked over. I'm proud of us over Christmas. Promotion form.

Keep them all unless we have to sell to buy. As said above, with a heavy heart, Stevens and Flecky would be the ones.

If no one is rocking the boat then keep the squad together… if we can get cancel Khadra and get in a striker that would be amazing but regardless of cancelling the loan we need another striker and midfielder through the doors in Jan.

Fleck and Stevens are not wat they were, granted, but you've got the possibility of injuries and you've also got their experience and no how to factor in. I can see Fleck in particular having an important role coming on as a sub just to keep things ticking over with twenty minutes to go. He won't smash one in from twenty yards or drift past people like he used to but he won't let you down either in my view.

Khadra may well be recalled by Brighton and/or at the request of the agent and then go elsewhere. I think that's a shame in a way because O do think there's a player in there but then again if we do go up I can't see us signing him regardless. I think Berge may well have interest again but I would imagine we'll turn it down unless someone offers silly money because he's worth more to us than he is to sell for £20m or whatever fee we'd get, and it won't likely be any more than £10m ish like what Brugge were offering or a loan.

We can't decide who needs to go. It's dependant on bids.
Logic suggests that your best players who you don't want to sell might receive the big bids.
Whereas the weak players in your squad don't receive bids because they are poor at this level.

So no way is any club paying a decent fee for Fleck or Stevens and doubt any club (where they would be an asset) could afford their wages.
So we would need to offer them out on loan and continue to pay a big portion of their wage.

The problem then is we would need replacements which would be an additional cost.
So it might be best value.....just to keep them as backup players in the squad.

Baffling post.

At this moment in time the best window sounds like us not losing key assets.

I don't see us signing anyone unless some go. And it would be better if we don't lose anyone key.

I think many forget that when the squad is fit all fit we have enough options in the squad. Squad is getting healthier currently in general.

2 Gks
2 RWBs
5 CBs
2 LWB
6 midfielders 7 with Coulibaly 8 with Arblaster too.
5 strikers

Yhey all should

Khadra - his loan isn't working for him, or us.
Jebbison - needs games to develop.
I'd also consider Osula's situation at Derby and whether he'd benefit from going somewhere else for more minutes.

Bring in a proper CF option on loan.
Somehow find the funds for a CM.

Would keep everyone else.
Agree that Jebbo needs to be out on loan. Needs playing time to develop and doesn’t look ready for try first team yet. However we do need an extra attacker On loan. Khadra hasn’t worked for him or us. We are left with Billy, McB and Illiman so very thin On ground if we get injuries.
