Mr Brinkley was asked if he was suggesting that the striker had selected him out of a crowd of hundreds and assaulted him "purely because you had said he was a shit footballer".

Ms Judge asked: "He (McBurnie) said 'Aha, that's the man who said I was a shit footballer, I am going to stamp on him?'"

Mr Brinkley answered: "I believe so."

This kid is an idiot. McBurnie spied him, told Brewster who pulled him down before McBurnie stamped on him

Yeah. Oreyt.

The 14 year old is the one with the video footage and was heard saying, "The Sheffield United player just stamped on him".

But, but, but... He didn't know who stamped on him until a few days later when he saw it on social media. But still decided to get on Instagram to slag McBurnie off for doing it, before then, despite NOT KNOWING, McBurnie did it 😵‍💫
But mcburnie was looking down on him and he feared he'd do it again, but with his non booted foot, whilst not knowing anything that happened until 2 days after.....

More holes than a fucking Sieve.

Open and shut case then. Whoever heard of a 14 year old over-dramatising shit?
We need to be careful here. Just because the main witness appears to be not too intelligent and a little confused doesn’t mean that his evidence is all worthless. There appear to be other witnesses and perhaps other evidence.
I would not like to call this one, but I am optimistic on what I have heard.

Ms Judge told him it indicated "this made-up fantasy has been brought about as a result of your desire to get compensation", but Mr Brinkley said he was seeking "justice".

"The guy who headbutted Billy Sharp [the Sheffield United captain who was assaulted after the match] was in prison two days later," he said.

"That person's in prison, but Oli McBurnie's not in prison because he's got money - pathetic."
-
He is not doing very well here at all is he?

That person is in prison, or was, because he handed himself in and pleaded guilty to what he did you fuckin div.

Seriously? On what planet should this utter plant pot be wasting a lot of peoples time and money. IF he got hurt good. Don't invade the pitch don't get hurt. So bored of loonies wasting time and money.

I understand your views on this guy and generally agree with them, but he is not the only evidence and experience tells me that whilst the CPS do make errors, this may not be one of them.
If he was the only witness and only piece of evidence then it would clearly be a waste of time and money and I think would have gone at the same time as Brewster’s case.

I guess the difference here is I don't care whatsoever what did or didn't happen to this waste of space. He broke the law and invaded a workplace within moments of a serious offence having being commited on McBs collegue.
We are poles apart. If Mcb had stood him up and punched his lights out I'd applauad him for that.

Well if that did happen, McBurnie would be looky he didn't bash the fuck out of him, despite fearing for his life, seeing Mcburnie grinning at him....... and not knowing what happened until 2 days later.

I wouldn't be so certain this is going to go the way of McBurnies from the posts so far as absurd as it is.

But you have to ask what on earth is Mr Brinkley's solicitor thinking? Have they advised him to say these things because it does not paint him in a good light.

I don’t think we are much apart in our views on this guy: I have no time for him or his like, but I don’t think his evidence alone is why McB is there.
I would be annoyed if he is found guilty, but totally pissed off if there is any form of custodial sentence, even suspended.

‘Supporters’ we’re running towards players after a fractious march you could asy that he (McBernie) was scared and defending himself especially as his profession could be halted if he was hurt imo it’s self defence.
