The last time we were at home on the first game; last game and boxing day (apart from the premiership season) was the year we went up.

A Christmas trip to Crawley. That just nails on how far we have fallen!!
On the bright side though, we should piss this league and have something to celebrate at the end of the season!

Get the lifeboats ready boys, HMS Piss the League is about to set sail! :)

According to their copyright notice, yes :)

By the terms of that notice, we'd probably have to get a surgeon to do some memory-wiping from your hippocampus...

Foxy - have you actually had to pay to stick the fixtures up or has there been a court ruling which means you won`t get sued now?

I've had to pay to become officially licensed for this coming season only. Not the full license price, as there's no way I could realistically pay that... especially with how much it costs me in hosting for the place :)

Home first day, Home on boxing day and Home last day.

Did they feel sorry for us because Wendy went up?

It's a South Yorkshire Police thing, I think. They've identified the first, last and Boxing Day games as those most likely to attract big crowds so a combination which puts fewer fans in South Yorkshire.

This season, it's United, Barnsley and Rotherham at home week 1, Wednesday and Doncaster at home week 2. They evidently think that Wednesday and Donny will get more fans than the United, Barnsley and Rotherham.

An alternative is that they see United as likely to be celebrating at the end of the season (good natured) while they think Wednesday will struggle and be relegated...which they'd rather happened away from South Yorkshire :D

Of course, I might be wrong!

Nah, after five years of the other way around they just can't justify pissing on us much more without it looking spiteful.
