Heard from a person I do trust that we are looking at Brian Stock. Thoughts anyone?

Not a patch on Macdonald and even more injury prone ,would prefer Gillet or Oster ,if Macdonald leaves ,but if Stock can keep fit he would be good in league 1.

Need to be looking at players in there early twenties, on 3-4 year deals, rather than older players on one and two year contracts. We've got enough players in the squad of a mature age. Just my opinion of course

signing young players is just a sell on machine for united. if evans had done the business from the off, he'd only have stayed one season. we dont want a load of old crocks ala 1979-1981... but dont be fooled into thinking we could build a team around youth... anyone any good will always be sold.

We need a balance. I think Collins has enough experience in the defence, but we have nothing in reserve in defence in terms of experience. I'm not concerned about experience in Midfield if we keep hold of Willo and McDonald, and experience certainly isn't lacking up front with porter and Cresswell.

I just think we need hungry determined youngsters to push us on.
