They deserved it, fair play to them, made us look bang average, completely sussed us out and stopped us playing
Some of the individual performers were rank poor tonight
Agreed.

I'm sure it's easier said than done but surely you have an idea on the tactics you're going to when they get booked half way through the first half for time wasting. You know the game they're playing. They went there for a draw, were gifted a goal and clung on to it.

I'm glad I don't have to watch them every week but they had a plan and it worked. They met pretty much every one of our long balls, closed us the second Wes distributed and spent as much time on the floor or with the ball out of play as possible.

Are we a better side, no doubt. Were we the better side? Not even close.

Yeah fair play Millers, classic away performance, make yourselves difficult to break down, catch the home team on the break, dig in.

That said, they’ll be thinking they’ve never had an easier game against us. Again, credit them for getting into shape, but we really didn’t try actually getting at them.

Only Khadra really tried to run at a defender when he came on, maybe McAtee as well tbf.

Thanks Roy, can't be easy doing this after such a poor showing from us. The Millers fully deserved the victory, but I'm not reading this one as I know exactly what some of them will be saying. Appreciate your effort as always.

I think only McAtee, Ndiaye, Norwood and Khadra were positives. The rest were all pretty much 'meh'

Anel and McB were shattered at half time

As a collective, the performance was dogshite.

Not looking good for Cardiff is it?

I don't feel negative for Cardiff......after the Burnley game I thought it looked great for Rotherham. I feel it could be a kick up the backsides that they need for Cardiff, will see.

I'm not reading Roy

That frustrated with our performance, I think fk it

Not taking anything away from Millers, they deserved their win

We didn't look right from the first whistle to the last.

I know what you mean and when it comes to 3pm on Satdi I'll feel the same as you... for a bit 🤣

Rotherham were full value for the win. They worked harder and we had no idea how to break them down. We didn't open them up once.

They are limited but they do the best they can with their resources. Tonight they showed hard work and organisation can triumph against a more talented set of individuals. They made us look like a basic poorly coached side
Isn’t that how we survived our first season in the Premiership ?

Thanks Roy. No complaints from me here. Thought it was going to be a proper scrappy game and so it panned out. Hurts though....

But we are?

Well played Rotherham after the goal the result was never in doubt.

From a Blades perspective that result and performance was an embarrassing disaster first time they have won at the lane since before Porterfield changed clubs 42 years they are saying. As bad a result as when that c**t Blackwell let the pigs win at the lane after a similar number of years of drawing blanks. If you can't get the players up for a local derby summat is up, we made a seriously under strength Millers team look decent, they aren't. What is betting they finish bottom half?
One thing is sure though looking at that performance we aren't good enough to go up.
99 years since pigs won at the Lane, Blackwell prevented the glorious century. Millers isn't even a derby.
Blackwell result was FAR worse

Sorry mate the pigs won at the lane in 67 John Ritchie scored in a 0-1 you are thinking of the years since a pig double, the previous one was 1913 I believe.

You're right, I'm thinking of the double. One Hundred Years- would've been hilarious and genuinely incredible! UTB
