Worth remembering that neither have proved themselves at the next level, yet. Signs are good though. Managing and coaching needs to retain some consistency for both players. PH and his team have been a positive influence for both of them up to now.

There's an element of luck for him because the "attacking centre back" tactic is perfect to showcase all his best qualities.

In our side, especially when the opposition press us, it's the centre backs who end up with time and space. This is ideal for him as he can just motor and suddenly there is space everywhere

controversial I don’t think he’s at the standards pre injury, having said that a he’s a baller that’s going all the way to the top. His finish today everyone needs appreciate his first touch.

Since the injury I’ve noticed a couple of lapses in concentration in his positioning (Pukki did too), and also a slight drop in his fitness.

But his bar has been set ridiculously high. He’s a phenomenon at this level.

Both him and Iliman would have significantly improved the team that got 9th place in the Prem.
