Stop talking shite about replacing hecky with Dyche, trust the manager who has done really well so far and stop being such wankers .. end of 😘

You can bet the vast bulk of those wanting Hecky out are Wednesday fans or Blades who never go to games.
Don't judge social media...best to judge on the reaction from the 27K at the match.

Rarely if at all get the chance to get to the matches though I keep an eye on shoutbox during.

I'm certainly far from the Hecky out group, we do seem to be spanking points away though. Silly things like their first goal today, very irritating and daft goal to give away. I can only accept injuries as an excuse to a certain extent, there's clearly potential in that squad considering we managed to bumble our way back after being 2 down and even nearly grab a winner.

Agree we were really good 2nd half but it reminded me a bit of Forest away in the play-off final.
When there's no pressure we do tend to play well. We were 0-2 down with nothing to lose, so we had zero nerves and just went for it.
Where as Norwich were defending their lead and more focused on trying to slow the game down and not concede.

It's difficult to say why but sometimes you can feel the squad seemingly holding back, for whatever reason. When we let fly we tend to look very very dangerous, we've proved it time and time again when the squad seemingly things "fuck it let's just go at em" we end up in the positions we've had this season with teams scared of coming to the Lane

At the Coventry game I realized that we all enjoy watching Ndiaye, but it seemed the team did too. None of them showed any creativity at all, it seemed to be give it to Ndiaye and see what he does.

I wondered if the team selection was an experiment and a wake up call to them all not to just rely on Ndiaye. Plus he's got 5 substitutions to correct it if he did get it wrong. He corrected some of it at HT when he put the baller on.

Other than that, I'm grasping as I can't understand his thinking. Ndiaye has been superb this season, so why drop him? Doyle is a major upgrade on Fleck, so why drop him? Mcburnie is in form, so why drop him?

I'm not in the Hecky out gang, I appreciate he galvanized last season, and apart from the Watford game, up until October we were playing excellent front foot football and winning games. He's had injuries to deal with, but today's team selection was extremely hard to understand.

2nd half was a lot lot better, and we've all learned something today, our strongest starting 11, and Fleck, Sharp, Osborn, and Brewster aren't in it. Norwood, Ndiaye, Doyle and Mcburnie are though.

Threres obiously a pressure to get promoted,as with another 10 teams, but more on us than most others. Next season will be reduced budet.

Really getting on my tits now, fans who work on building sites and at asda thinking they know better that hecky because we've had a bad run... we've got a decent manager who sees the players every day and knows what condition they are in ..... just trust him to do the right thing ffs

His away form is nothing short of abysmal. Hes got this far purely on our form at Bramall Lane. Once he loses that hes in trouble.

Said exactly this when Twitter was going bonkers with his team selection.

Morons who work in call centres, building sites, claim to be social media personalIties - all claiming they know more than the guy who sees the players Mon-Fri, has access to all their performance data, will have analysed their vo2 uptake, lactic tolerance buffers...

It's quite embarrassing really.

Not really anyone with a single brain cell could see that Mcburnie, Ndiyae and Doyle. (Possible others) should start,

I guess unless you are being paid £100s of thousands a year and have mediocre career record your opinion doesn’t count

Should listen to the lad next to me. Not sure how this twat isn't managing Man City with his knowledge of the game.

Shoutbox as it’s known round these parts 🙂

Incidents like the first goal aren’t uncommon. Didn’t Didzy catch out Hendo the same way..?

Most football fans at most clubs are too invested to give such unconditional trust in the face of poor results. Ultimately it tends to be whether the owners lose trust of course.

It's never been easier to get a fuckload of likes on here 🤣

This army of "Hey, don't be negative" thread starters must have Roygbiv waking up in a cold sweat.....

The league table picture posters also have superb potential

The battle........ is on.

Maybe they should have started but he gave his reasons why he didn't and I agree with him tbf.

It’s not a viable option anyway, the club have five Hecky a long contract, they wouldn’t sack him within a year of that.

I do think Dyche is an upgrade though & I’d struggle to see a reason why he’s not, but as I said it’s fantasy stuff

I think people were shocked at the team selection yesterday. Going 2 down was just the validation of their thinking. If it had been 0-0 at half time and then Doyle etc come in for second half then clearly things would have been different.

Clearly we should trust PH more, he explained things well post match. It’s just difficult to do when you see that key players are missing.

cock

The style of football Dyche teams play is not for me or the club in my opinion.
Watch his podcasts that he’s done recently, he talks about style of play & comments that he had to play this way due to the squad he had & the budget he had.

It was effective & gave Burnley premier league football for a long time, longer than I’m sure they all expected.

If we had similar success under him we’d be pretty happy with that, we wasn’t the easiest on the eye under Bassett & Warnock but we look back at memories of those days fondly.

I’m not trying to turn your head that long ball & battling performances are the right way forward but what saw our fans respond yesterday? It was when they were battling & showing aggression, that’s something fans of our club demand & we tend to get frustrated when we don’t see that.

I don’t think Dyche coming to us happens by the way & I also don’t think Hecky deserves to be sacked.
