I've also got my wedding a fortnight after the final, so that's playing into it.
I'm so bloody conflicted.
Similar but luckily mine isn't until the start of August

I'm the jinx - haven't seen us win this Millennium, and several years before that - this season Colchester away, Stevenage home & away (not play offs) and as you may have guessed Oldham at home, and all the big game defeats in the years before . So I am pretty sure I am going to stay at home for this one and allow those who go to see us scrape home.Definitley going! I want to be there when we finally break the jinx! Imagine us scoring and winning! Can't not go if thats gonna happen!!!
good luck with it mate..TV for me i think, due to have surgery tomorrow.
Yes Chiz, hope you like the big flag, was difficult to erect!Your avatar, is that Nottingham Council House?
I will be attending.
Ashamed eh? what a load of total bollocks!anyone missing this one without good reason should be ashamed to call themselves a Blade..
As Season Ticket Holders are allowed 2 tickets, I'm sure someone would be able to get you a ticket.Petrol to get to Calgary - $70, flight to London - $1000+, ticket - $100...
I'd also have to get a ticket on general sale as I don't think 1 match in 5 years gives me enough loyalty points?
I went to the Crystal Palace and Wolves finals as I was a ST holder back then (and didn't live in Canada). I think I have to pass this time but I did consult the wife after the final whistle yesterday as to whether it was worth going to the final!
Ashamed good one that. Yes I'm ashamed to have had a ST for over 45 years and missed a total of about 30 games in the last 10 years but because I choose not to go to Wembley I will follow your instruction and no longer consider myself a Blade. The club needs your support on this occasion more than ever, forget our history and stop feeling sorry for yourselves, anyone missing this one without good reason should be ashamed to call themselves a Blade..
I arranged a "round table" meeting to try to settle a big case on Saturday 26th May about a week ago (the only day everyone could make) and forgot all about what else might be happening then :-(
You'd best get booking a box for the game then Darren!
I can't go and I'm proper fooked off about it.
Moral of the story: you'll probably be dead next time United win something, so if you're not busy then JFDI.
If you can't handle defeat, then it's about time you learned. You've had enough practice by now.
JD - (grumpy as chuff)
Ashamed..... is heart surgery a good excuse ?
Im nottingham born and bred and still live here, I wish it was like that just onceYes Chiz, hope you like the big flag, was difficult to erect!
Think of it this way. The Blades have lost 3 Championship / Div Two finals.
they have NEVER LOST a League One / Div Three final............................................................Yet?
Agreed Pinchy. Its my ambition to see us win at Wembley. I even saw us score there once.
Come on Blades fans dig deep one last time! We ARE the 12th man.
