Thought it might be an idea to put travel deals/offers of minibuses etc. all in one place.

National Express, as Wembley sponsors, are running a return coach for Blackpool fans. I'd hazard a guess that we'll get the same once tonight's game is decided: http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/destinations/events/wembleystadium/index.aspx

We're doing train down and coach back. The coach price has already increased from what we paid last night.

can`t help but think that the M1 is likely to be a nightmare whoever we play. Anyone travelling M40 will breeze into London...

Anyone planning on parking at Stanmore, it gets busy very quickly. I think there are parking restrictions in place with it being a Saturday so your best bet is actually Canons Park which is one stop closer on the Jubilee Line and has plenty of parking available. Anyone wanting specifics for parking drop me a PM, I've done it many times before :)

Anyone know how easy it'll be to navigate the tube after the game?

We've got to be back at London Victoria for 20:15.

It was easy enough at 5 o'clock 3 years ago :(

Game over at 5, 30 mins celebration, parading the trophy, out of the ground for 6, you'll be fine ;)

Why would I wanna stay and watch Huddersfield get their trophy? :D

Jubilee line to Green park, change to Victoria line to Victoria. About half an hour all in.

Canons Park is also ideal for anyone coming down the A1 as you just go straight across at Apex Corner and it's 5 minutes further on with plenty of parking on a Saturday as BusheyBlade says.

Ma'am, may I suggest travel and ticket threads be pinned so we don't end up with about 30 of them at some stage. This way it may end up a nice all encompassing resource in one place.

Marvellous idea, old chap. Done.

Must admit, when I booked myself and Jr on the 18.30 out of Euston, my thoughts were 'oh well, at least we can jump on an earlier train if needs be'. It's only dawned on me today that it could be extra time, penalties and the right result and we've no chance of catching it !

Small price to pay though :)

Our coach should get into Sheffield at quarter past midnight. Should we get the right result, I reckon we should be on London Road just as the party/riot is getting into full swing.

My Dads putting a coach on from (The Crown) Killamarsh, ideal for Eckington, Mosborough, etc but all are welcome! Still finalising a price with the coach company but we're expecting it to be around the £30 mark approx

Indeed, said strain was taken about five mins after we got home last night.

Effing olympics. Fcuked my plan of a minibus as Europcar have sent them all there from the 26th.

Speaking of trains, if there's any families going down, get yourself a family and friends railcard. Costs about £30 and you'll make that back on this trip and have the card for use over the next 12 months :)

Getting to sound like Viz letters page :D

After going on a coach for Burnley and being sat in the car park for getting on for 2 hours - it's train for me this time.

train tickets could possibly be valid for any train as it is a bank holiday weekend.

No it isn't.... Spring Bank has been knocked back to June for t'Queen.

Hi Raul,

Nice to meet you yesterday! Hope you had a great night?

Anyway, hope you don't mind me asking but you seem to have an idea of the London subway lines; we're hoping to go and getting a train direct from Bradford to London KCX, any idea of what line(s) we need to be looking at to get Wembley from there?

Also, I've just looked up the Family/Friends Railcard which I believe is £28, and indeed, it would save me and my lad nearly 45% off the full return ticket price (ours being in excess of £100) on the train, so that seems a great idea too Jim :D

All the best & UTB!!

P.S. Come on the Hibees for Sat!!!

A helpful site for navigating London is the TFL site. There's a journey planner between stations/places of interest and it'll tell you the route to take.

Metropolitan Line all the way there, no changes. Happy to help.
