It's a bit sad of me that I keep replying to this, but I'll give it one more go.Except it doesn’t. Having bigger hands doesn’t logically mean you’re a better goalkeeper. Either way, the claim that Davies is a better keeper that Foderingham has no basis in logical or fact or whatever else you’d like to refer to. Davies hasn’t even played as a goalkeeper this season.
Unless you know for a fact that hand size has absolutely no correlation with goalkeeper ability, the statement is valid. It is reasonable and logical to assume that having bigger hands will let you keep out more shots. That doesn't mean it's correct, or that it's factual, or that it's persuasive.
