Davis is a fine shot stopper with lots of international experience and no such baggage so all prejudices aside I'd be happy for either keeper to pull on the shirt

It was difficult to see exactly what was happening at the time but I said straight away that it would result in some sendings off. The referee had already demonstrated he wasn’t averse to a red card.

Except it doesn’t. Having bigger hands doesn’t logically mean you’re a better goalkeeper. Either way, the claim that Davies is a better keeper that Foderingham has no basis in logical or fact or whatever else you’d like to refer to. Davies hasn’t even played as a goalkeeper this season.
