Not a chance.
I want us to get the second auto spot and the pigs to lose at the play off semi final stage.

I want us to establish ourselves back in the Championship next season whilst they have another year in the third tier of English football league. Happy for them to struggle their way to an auto spot next season as Madine gets what's owed for actually being a thug.

I haven't lived in Sheffield for almost 30 years but I still remember the arrogance - they were "massive" then as well - it's not a new trait.
 



We've been on about this at work. I've kind of sat on the fence and said that I don't want them to go up this year, but do so next. Once we're (hopefuly) challenging again towards the top of the Championship.

That way, we can gloat in May this year and then when they go up next season, it won't be as big a deal to us.
 
Having spent my formative years in schools with my peers being by a vast majority piggies, I can safely say that I would rather chop my knackers off than want anything good for them.

We need get ahead of 'em again and stay ahead of 'em. We had a chance when we were in the prem and upper tier championship to stand on their throats and confirm ourselves as number 1 in Sheffield for a generation. We ballsed it up, but I'm up for another go. Grind the bastards down to the dirt.
 
Part of me wants the Sheffield derby to be played out in the top flight, but i get too much enjoyment at seeing the little piggies suffer.

That said i'd be happy for them to get promoted to the premier league if we became an established top flight club.

I'm similarly minded. I'd consider allowing them to play in Sheffield after our 5th Champions League title.

All of me wants the Sheffield Derby in the top flight where we relegate them on the last day knowing that relegation will be their financial ruin and Admin will ensue during the next season.

The goal that seals their fate coming from a bastard love child of Megson scoring an O.G.

I can't think why anyone would want the pigs to not suffer hell for the rest of their existence. They're a horrible scummy club who deserve to be at the bottom of the football league for a very long time. How anyone would want the derbies is beyond me - nervous games that we never do particularly well in, all that happens after is we come home disappointed and we get a load of crap from the grunters. I'd be pleased if we never played another derby again.

Completely agree, I hate the derbies. Can't stand the blue and white filth. Driffield League Div 4 would be too high for them.
 
Wednesday are a necessary evil. Without them we become like Leeds or Leicester or Reading or coventry. A club without a proper rival. May they ever be consigned to the division immediately below ours...

Leeds and West ham are a different kettle of fish. Would gladly see both clubs liquidated immediately....

Sheffield needs both clubs to be thriving strongly in football terms and pushing for promotion out of our current league and into the promised land.
Steel city derby games are so passionate and generate great energy throughout the city. It would be amazing to showcase these games in The Premiership.
