I've got £25 in my betting account and Im very good at loosing bets, as soon as I started betting on the pigs this year they lost 3 in a row, then I started betting on Charlton and they had a wobble too.

Now Im thinking of putting it all on an accumulator of us to draw or loose and the pigs to win or draw this week which will win me just over £50. Now if the worst thing happens and I win I can do the same thing next week and then if it happens again I should have £100, enough for a trip to Wembley (if we even got there which I wouldn't be confident about to be honest)

I really do think and hope that Ill lose my money but if the worst happens then im covered for any playoffs. It always bugged me that I didnt put the £20 on us to go down from the prem when everyone was banding about the suggestion on BU at the time.

Anyone doing anything similar?

I put 50 quid on relegation from the prem, won about 1300 if I recall. I felt somehow relegation was my fault, felt guilty spending the cash and got a lot of stick from fellow Blades for betting against us. I wouldn't do it again.

A bloke I work with laid United for auto promotion as soon as the evan's verdict was announced. He is a Liverpool fan so I really hope he loses his cash.

I always feel the opposite, when I bet on us to win and we lose its because I bet on them :( I dont believe in superstition or luck except when it comes to football

People really struggle with the word lose nowadays
don't they ?

I've been doing it quite a bit this season, mainly betting on the pigs to win. I'm probably even overall though I've won a bit recently.
I put £20 on them to beat Hudds which won me a bit (£37.50 profit), and I put £18 on a pigs win / us not to win double last week which won me £46, and now I've lumped all that on a pigs win / us not to win double this weekend that will see the pot go to £168 if it happens.
I really hope it doesn't though and I'd settle for any other result. The worst that can happen this weekend and I lose is us lose & pigs draw, which would still see us needing to beat Exeter, and I'd just cover myself again by backing against that.
If the bet doesn't come off, I've only lost the original stake, but we'll be a step further towards promotion.
If we're going to cock it up, I may as well get some cash out of it to cover those trips to the Brentford, Colchester, Bournemouth & MK Dons I've done recently.
If we don't cock it up and we go up, I'll be a maximum of £50 out of pocket and I can live with that. If thats the cost of getting us promotion then I've done my bit!

Bet fair had odd for you to lay us going up at 1.40 ish

Basically for a potential liability of 22 quid, you win 50 if we don't go up.

It's looking tempting I have to say....
