Dean Henderson

Just got round to watching the City Forest highlights and gotta say Henderson looked poor.

Only 9 shots on target and 6 go in questions need to be asked.

Looked to be in decent position to stop a fair few but just went through his hands or legs.
Good. We owe no loyalty to him, and i want forest to crash and burn :D

I'm not loyal to him and its super early days but I did always like him. He clearly has the ability to be a fantastic keeper, look at the buzz around him when he was with us. Towards the end he was in line for England's number 1. I really liked the passion he showed as well when at our club.

All of that in him seems to have disappeared since his move back to Man U so we will see how he gets on at Forrest since he will be their number one. I genuinely think most of the credit goes to our coaching staff. Hendo became a great keeper under us, Ramsdale was shakey when he came back and eventually became competent in goal, subsequently ending up as a favourite at Arsenal and Fodders doesn't worry me in the slightest. We clearly have some very good coaching staff.

If we're promoted he would be one of the first names I would be looking at. He loves the club & wants to leave Man Utd. The only problem is Forest seemingly have cash to burn so they'll probably be able to better anything we can put together

Fuck that. His passion is for who ever he's playing for at time. Premier league Wes all the way

Very happy with our current keeper options.
Dean Henderson may be learning what it’s like behind a leaky defence, with no team spirit.

His time at Man U was not great. Now he’s had it confirmed at Forest.

I know a few Leeds fans and they are ok

I don't know any of their idiots because I wouldn't want to know them

Same with Wendy, the ones I know are okay, don't want to know the others.

But I have only known four Forest fans in my life, and unfortunately it was in a working situation at various companies I'd worked at, so I couldn't avoid them.

All four of them were basically the same person, horrible, racist, homophobic, vindictive, shit stirring cretinous twats each and every one of them.

I know it's only four people, but it's also a 100% twat rate.

On top of this I was attacked by a bunch of them in a pub before Cloughies last match, when we sent them down.

I was with my girlfriend at the time, just two of us having a drink before the match.

Thing is, as four or five of them started trouble with me, there wasn't four or five others that stood up and said "Leave em alone, its only a lad and his girlfriend" so they were just as bad in my view.

So they have a 100% hit rate with me, every one of them is a cunt.

And after being in a couple of Lewisham pubs before a game even Millwall don't get that rating

Agree.

The bit I found weird was that all the pundits commented how well Forest played. They dominated midfield and had a lot of attacks but created little.

Whereas Spurs missed a penalty and one or two really good chances.

It could have easily been a 0-4 home defeat against a team having an off day.

Think that’s a concern.
Also as we’ve seen confidence plays a massive role, lose a few and Forest could be another Norwich playing some nice football but far too open.
All this “the team had an off day.”Isn’t that what Spurs, Man U et al said about playing us in our first year in the Prem. Sometimes teams have an off day because the opposition won’t let them play their normal game. Credit where it’s due. Forest are at least giving it a go.

I agree i like Henderson too, but i disapprove of forest more than i like hendo (if that makes sense!)

i’d like to see him back here one day under someone like Hecky, you are right the management should take a lot of credit for what he became in the two seasons here

"Giving it a go"!, I so hope they get relegated, just imagine their current wage bill, theyve just signed 21!!! Players, 21!, that's ridiculous, an entire new squad!

I'd have no trouble welcoming him back. I've got zero problems with him or Rammers for that matter they moved for bigger clubs, far bigger clubs. Didn't quite work well for Hendo but he's back where he wants to be - in the PL. If we were back up there I'd have him back but the last thing I'd want is to sideline Wes

Yeah I agree but I don't think his departure from the club was handled well on either side, if I remember correctly. Wasn't it something along the lines of the club telling him he could go then he couldn't or something? As a young promising player if I had a club like Arsenal on hook I think I'd be getting pissed off if my club were a bit slow on getting me there.

I do like him as a keeper though and as a fan of the club that's all I'm really interesting in him doing when he's here.

Joe Biden, a socialist? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Much of the recent inflation has been caused by the war, it isn't anyone's fault. Governments then have a choice in how to handle it, they could cap energy bills, food prices and rent; or they could do fuck all and tell the public not to ask for a pay rise to afford the inflated cost of necessities.

The strikes are largely for better pay, hopefully there is enough solidarity between working class people in this country that they succeed.
So we all get a 10% pay rise which will drive inflation even higher................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think that’s a position we’ll have to strengthen if we’re promoted. Not taking anything away from Wes at all, he’s fantastic but we will need a top keeper to come in.

Yeah, so be it.

The government, corporations and landlords have all been allowed to drive inflation through the roof. No problem. Now people NEED a pay rise or some other intervention to survive, the government step in.

I know which team I'm on, sod everyone that swallows Tory excuses.

Won't be going to Qatar in Nov/Dec unless 1 is injured/absent with all the sloppy soft goals he/Forest have let in so far this season with that dodgy defence. Way behind Ramsdale, Pickford and Pope

He was sat in front of Bert at the play off semi final against....... Forest.
And we were sat next to him and his wag at the same game. I thought, nice of him to come and see the Blades hopefully progress back to Prem. Maybe thinking he could come on loan again? He was actually there hoping Forest would progress so he could move to them. Approach already made by then. He went down greatly in my estimation after that.

But how can the pay rise help all it will do is drive prices / inflation up further and interest rates
There isnt a simple solution here it’s a worldwide crisis compounded by Russia - a pandemic and in our case Brexit I suppose a perfect storm for a depression

Has anyone considered that come the winter how many clubs probably league one and below won’t be playing night matches or 3.00 pm kick offs due to energy ( lights ) costs

He got a black mark from Bert for leaving 10 minutes before the end.

Pay rises will cause further inflation, you're right. When someone from the Bank of England or some politician comes out and says this though, they are criminal in their lack of context.

Inflation started rising. Energy companies were allowed to increase prices dramatically, which caused further inflation. Nobody stepped in to say, "you can't have any more money guys, it's inflationary".

Then landlords jacked up rents, in many cases more than predicted inflation levels. This causes inflation, but again they did this without any drama. Same with food prices, travel costs, etc.

After 10 years of austerity and stagnant wages, the inflation starts to hit the ordinary person. Many people can't cope with the cost of living increase, many children are driven into poverty, others are simply fed up with it and demand a pay rise.

Look who appears, the government! They tell workers that their pay simply can't be increased. Why? Because it will cause inflation. Why the fuck should we be the ones to take the hit, AGAIN. Our demand for higher wages is the necessary, automatic response to the price hikes brought about by rich, greedy cunts who can afford to have their prices capped. We can't.

I had no problem welcoming back Hendo played a big part in our rise in the two seasons he was here .. what I have a big problem with Ramsdale ..no issues with him wanting to move to Arsenal .. what I did have a problem was him refusing to play at West Brom while the club were trying to get a decent fee for him & his twatish interview with Ben Foster ⚔️
