FAO Those who leave games early

There's a whole video which the club put out that you can watch here ^^^

I left early cos forrest fans were being dicks. I had an AdHD 8yr old. And thought it was better to get through BL before they came out.

I was proved right.

And me leaving early ensured we scored.

I‘m sorry. This is not allowed.

You should behave exactly how that other bloke wants you to. And if you don’t do exactly the same as him, your behaviour is inexplicable.

Hmm, so why did almost no-one leave the match early the week before against Fulham then?

Must be an amazing coincidence that streams of people have appointments straight after the match only when we are losing...

It was officially the last home game of the season when the players come back out for a "lap of honour" and to thank the fans. Plus all the shirt grabbing sign fans were there so this is another reason not to leave.

Also winning 4-0 instead of losing 2-0(1) where we gifted them the match might have something to do with it. ;)

I might be in the minority but genuinely go to watch the football and catch up with mates. The one and only game I have ever left early is when we lost 3-0 at Bramall Lane against then League 1 Swansea in The FA Cup when we were in the Premier league, we left after the 3rd goal went in and has been the only time I have left before the final whistle

I do usually stay but scensed it was gonna be bad yesterday.

Everyone has their reasons. Just worry about yourself I say.

I’m a little apprehensive here because if I click play I’m unsure if I’ll be judged if I stop watching before the video ends. Just don’t know what to do… 😟

I get the odd person may need to leave early but wow last night was a joke. I sit on south gangway F and thier was barely anyone left around me when the players went down the tunnel 😮
Last night was weird , thousands upped and left with about 10 minutes to go ,must have been something on the box.

It's a shame that leaving just 3 or 4 mins early can make such a massive difference..... but if you give it half an hour as I did last night the roads are pretty much clear

There's less excuse to leave early on Saturday games I'd say

Go for a curry or a pint after, clear roads after a nice Dhansak last night.

Unfortunately gone full Foderingham this morning 💩

Normally on a night game we get to the back of the stand to make a sharp exit for the near 100 mile drive home as soon as the whistle blows, (NEVER before). We are usually in the car, (parked next to James Cycles) and on Chesterfield Road within minutes. Did the same last night but it was already chocka on the roads so there was definitely a higher proportion of early leavers for sure.

Bet they wern't watching us get tonked by southend etc. Bloody glory supporters

Yep, certainly an unusual amount of fans fucked off early last night.

I fucked off on 65 minutes at West Brom away last season, that's my record.

I wasn't prepared to see us get annihilated AND spend a minute longer in Birmingham than necessary.

I also fucked off at half time once in 2010. We were 0-3 down at home to QPR. But it wasn't just the scoreline that made me leave, oh no my friends, I left so I could go and ask a girl out.

That girl became my wife.

Then she became a cunt.

So we split up

Rollercoaster of a read that

So the moral of the story is don't leave early unless you are in Birmingham.

That was 5 mins after the game had finished though, leaving when the game finishes is not 'leaving early'. Unless we're now changing bigger Blade status to being the last one in the ground clapping the players down the tunnel?!

For night games if i was on nights i left at 21-10 no matter what the score as id have been sacked for bad time keeping, so dont go judging people for leaving early

Don't usually get annoyed by this but I've found it disappointing how few have been left in the ground this season after games.

Obviously everyone has a choice and some have good reason but compared to the last few years when things have been going well, it seems many more have gone by the time the team acknowledge the crowd.

Must be a little disappointing for the players to see stands a third or quarter full after a really good performance and result.

it does annoy when people leave, as we're paying £300 - £500 for a season ticket your probally £800 - £1000 when everything else is included

ive left early before but normally when im pissed off. 4-0 down. outclassed by Shrewsbury, but recently might be greatest performances over such an extended period that ive ever seen from a Sheffield United team. cant remember us being this good. why would you not want to soak up every moment. after all, as ferrari team principal said & stuck with me, these good times is what makes all the pain worth it

i understand work issues. im contracted to working every Tuesday evening. but i make sure i can be free for them evening games. but then maybe i have more accepting / understanding bosses

Me and my daughter are usually in the last 100 or so to leave the ground, regardless of how the games went.
I can understand people leaving if we are getting tonked, not so much if we aren’t.

Kids haven’t even got school in the morning.

It must me because people don’t want to sit in traffic and arrive home late, that’s all I can muster.

My oppo John, used to leave every game with 10 to go, without fail, to 'beat the traffic'....I wanted to beat him around the head with a rolled up copy of the Sun...fecking lightweight.
