FAO Those who leave games early

I left early because I can. I also don't give a fuck what anyone thinks of me for doing that. I've got enough going on in my life without worrying about what someone might think of me for leaving early.

But if the depth of someone's problems or concerns is people leaving a game early then you're in a pretty damn good place as an individual.

There's a baby formula shortage in America and this is an issue. Good grief.

6 times i had to get up for some cunt to powder his nose. If you need to go 6 times in one game to sniff, i would suggest you get better quality cocaine. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Going to sound very naive here, but is cocaine consumption before and during games such a big thing these days? I just assume all the knobheads are pissed up!

Yesterday, I really appreciated my normal ST seat, as although I got a ticket only about 15 seats along from where I normally sit, the difference was unbelievable. Every few minutes someone going to 'powder their nose' and being to the right of a gangway, a continuous procession of people up and down blocking my view of the pitch. Almost as frustrating as the performance.
Will be glad to be back in my normal seat next season.

You don’t have the right to criticise anyone 😂. You don’t know why people left. And frankly it’s none of your business. The people crying about others leaving early are way more annoying and worse than the people that chose to leave early.

Everyone has the right to criticize anyone, that's what a democracy is. I never stated that I knew why every single person left, I could hardly interview them all could I?

It is my business because I have to get up every few minutes to let them go past, and them leaving early poisons the atmosphere for the team I supporting.

Yeah so this is the General Blades chat, so discussions about my other problems wouldn't be applicable for this part of the forum.

Well the issue of people leaving early must be causing you some sort of issue considering you've posted about it. Like I say, considering the issues I'm currently facing I genuinely couldn't give a fuck who leaves early or doesn't. I sometimes don't even go to the game at all.

None of those problems back of the kop as noses get powdered where they stand. And the amount of miniature bottles that get fetched up, christ.

You’ve answered your own question. John might have Pilates at 6, Jeff starts his night shift in Halifax at 7, Debbie has got to pick the kids up from her mothers cus she’s only had them on the premise she can go to bingo at 5.30.

Stop trying to work out something that is extremely complex in terms of the answer.

Hmm, so why did almost no-one leave the match early the week before against Fulham then?

Must be an amazing coincidence that streams of people have appointments straight after the match only when we are losing...

Jesus. Some people probably just left because they wanted to. So fucking what.

I left early because I'd had a skin full, the sun was out and we were getting dicked at home by Forest.

I didn't realise how early I'd left though. I was in the pub by myself, looked up at the TV and it was only about 80 mins on the clock.

I don't really feel like I have to justify my decision to anybody. I paid my money, it's my loss.

There you go FMBlade1 - you can’t start making notes.

My prior engagement was a lot more important to me and my family than me standing and clapping the players off at the end of the game.

Haha exactly. I love how people get so sensitive when criticises for leaving early and still try to claim the moral high ground.

If you leave early it will obviously affect the players and you can’t complain when we then don’t score.

It’s everyone’s right to leave when they want, but they should just be honest and say they can’t take losing. Whatever the reason, i doubt they be leaving if we were drawing.

And to whom would you like their admission addressed to?

……so if leaving early affects the players then how come when loads fucked off yesterday we scored? 🤔

Just to themselves instead of coming on here to defend it.

Coming on here to make excuses is just wasting everyone’s time. If you don’t like losing and you leave early, that’s fine.

But don’t post about it and don’t whine when the players don’t nick an equaliser.

A phenomenon I will never remotely understand. One fella near me leaves every single game on 88 minutes no matter the scoreline. I wonder if he does the same thing at the theatre because its fucking annoying.

So this thread is exclusive to those who want to slag people off for leaving early? Oh and those who can muster up the courage to admit they just don’t like losing.

It’s a thread started by someone berating people leaving early. I’d have thought anyone who left early with reason are entitled to defend themselves. Not that they need to.

I left early cos forrest fans were being dicks. I had an AdHD 8yr old. And thought it was better to get through BL before they came out.

I was proved right.

And me leaving early ensured we scored.

It’s not the folk leaving early that’s the problem ,per se, it’s the knobs that leave their seat, chuntering as they go & then pause to watch the game when something happens on the pitch

For reference:
SS gangway F immediately behind the ‘exit’
If you’ve been afforded the following advice:-

“If you’re going then fuck off”

It was well deserved

Based on the empirical data, which is a screenshot of a stand off SUTV.

Amazing how many leave 10 minutes before full time so they can 'avoid the crush' or to 'get away early to avoid the traffic' Yet staying for say 15 minutes after full time would achieve the same result.
Give yr head a wobble. 15 mins after game and yr in a traffic jam anywhere within a mile of BDBL.!
