no. theres some poor teams who will struggle but theres 8 or 9 teams that can make top 2If we have 20 pts after 10 games I’ll be happy I get the feeling that this season anyone could go up
we attacked at boro but a their second goal was a sloppy. affair ..He now needs to assert a different approach away from home - let’s see what Luton brings
Hopefully not playing to avoid conceding but playing to our strengths
Directly asked me a question. But doesn't give a fuck what I thinkVery mature of you. How old are you seriouslyFeckin hell.
No, I don't think I'll bother reading your posts from a week back. Couldnt give a fuck what you think to be honest. Your views (and you for that matter) mean fuck all to me.
The trouble was he was starting almost from a negative in the eyes of many; Not sure what the basis is for wanting Hecky out because looking back at his tenure starting last season, he hasn’t really put a foot wrong?
Yes, we didn’t get through the play offs but he still came out with a lot of credit for getting us there
We don’t play football that I would consider boring. We try to play on the front foot, but sometimes you have to give the opposition credit for stopping us
He’s doing a decent job which will look even better if we can start picking up a few wins away from home
Good assessment.The trouble was he was starting almost from a negative in the eyes of many;
He wasn’t a big name
He seemed like a cheap option, promoting from within
His track record as a senior team manager was not great (until you look into facts)
The mood was not great following relegation and a poor start under Slav
So whenever we have a poor result or performance then the critics are ultra quick to jump on his back
Good assessment.
Some of what's said is way off the mark
too defensive....was all out attack yesterday
poor team choices ...1 defeat in 17 home games
club lacks ambition.....we are now atop the league and made some fabulous signings
Hecky has taken a fairly disjointed squad and given it purpose and depth and filled the holes in it
no manager would ever progress if not given the chance....I'd say getting a club feeling sorry for itself. in the lower half. getting up to 5th and a play off is an achievementYou can Say hecky is doing a decent job with the squad he has
You can say hecky has no prior qualifications for this job and isn’t our manager on merit but is doing a good job so far
You can say any manager worth his salt at this level should be top of the league with the squad we have , it’s the best squad in the league by a mile IMO and hecky is doing what you would expect with a squad like this
Maybe I’m pessimistic and pint half empty guy and I hope I am wrong but a few good home performances doesn’t change my opinion on him
Decent manager and done a good job so far who has never done anything above league one , it doesn’t mean he can’t get us out of this league

doubters. of every move he makesYes he has done very well so far. He's got us top of the league (admittedly at a very early stage in the season) and took us from 16th when he took over to finishing last season 5th. So he is clearly doing something very well. That said, he does sometimes (in the opinion of others and mine also) get things wrong on match day. If he didn't he wouldn't be human. We as fans are allowed on a fans forum to debate these things and praise him when things have gone well and highlight things where we think he could have done better. Like some of our away displays for example. Now you might think we have been beyond reproach with our away tactics and bully for you if you do. I don't though and think tactical mistakes have been made in away games. Hopefully Hecky has learnt and will get more right in future away games especially as now he has his 'own team' in situ.
But back to the thread heading and a question which I see another poster on here has already asked of you. Apart from maybe a couple of posters on here who are dubious to say the least (probably pigs thinking they are funny) who are the 'Hecky Out' brigade? Don't see it myself, as I think 99.9% of SUFC fans are solidly behind him? Is this something you have made up in your own mind so that you can defend him on here...? (not sure who from to be honest). No one I can see wants him to go anywhere. Plenty (me included) will continue to question his tactics away from home if we don't improve with our current form away from home (over the last 10 away games) if we think mistakes have been made on the day. Doesn't mean we want him 'out' if he's deemed to have made a mistake on the day of the game. We are simply saying he should have done this or that. It our opinion.
So again, who is this mystical 'Hecky Out' brigade? It's a rhetorical question rerade a decision shich aas pure geniuseally as I already know the answer (A. it doesn't actually exist as we sit here as of today).
doubters. of every move he makes
hindsight is wonderful...he should have subbed or not subbed is always offered as a negative
are you implying Jurgen klopp has never made a wrong choice
even at his prime Wilder made poor choices in hindsight
After the start boros made I'd expect boro fans are a bit unhappy with Wilders superior skills
I think it could be based on his over cautious use of subs against Boro. That will fade as he gets more confidence in his bench. Is there really an “Hecky out mob”…or have you just made it up?
I think that if you make the mistake of going into Shoutbox during a game then you might be ‘mistaken’ for thinking that there are many who want Hecky out. The numbers tumble in normal threads but I don’t think that he is more than a few bad results away from a Hecky out brigade building upShall I refer you to my previous post where I stated that 'he has made mistakes and if he hadn't he wouldn't be human'. So no I'm not saying Klopp or Wilder or Hecky have never made mistakes cos that would be just daft. Everyone gets things wrong at times, that's a given. The best managers though learn from their mistakes quickly and don't keep making the same errors over and again. No one I know who supports Utd is saying that Hecky isnt the right man for the club at this moment. I think he is. In fact I was one of the few on here on said he was on the day we appointed him. But he is still accountable for his mistakes that may may not make on match day in our own opinions. Up to you if you agree or disagree, or even if you bother to read other people's posts through or just go with what you make up in your head to suit what you are debating at the time.
I might join actually in actually and make a thread up defending Billy Sharp and saying who are these wankers who called him a **** yesterday. No one did but I can shout on here about what wankers we have supporting us... All make belief obviously. Its like furious Frank from the Harry Enfield show who used to get furious and start shouting in the pub to his drinking mate about hypothetical situations which were pure fantasy in his head.![]()

So by your reasoning heckingbottom is on a par with Guardiola and klopp, you have to remember that the quality of the signings/squad has to be directly attributed to the manager and also that these quality players willingly choose to do the things that he tells them to do, remember jovanovic was supposed to be a top manager but he couldn't get the squad that eventually finished 5th to play at allYou can Say hecky is doing a decent job with the squad he has

Give it a rest man.Guardiola and klopp are the best managers in the world because they win stuff and achieve stuff
What has Heckingbottom done ? Nothing of note yet
Slav was the worse possible manager for us and hecky probably is at this time or when he took over
Slav is a much better manager than hecky as he had achieved far more in his career
I sometimes forget why I put people on Ignore. If I ever view that Muppets posts, I quickly remember why.Give it a rest man.
Our problem is complacency team and supporters one bad result and we are up in arms and we’re going to throw it all away
We're quite knee jerky as a group aren't we? Not sure if it's current day Blades or footy fans in general? But lose and everything about Hecky's contribution is questioned, win and we're on course to win the world cup. There are few mundane, grey areas. There are certainly plenty of examples of people showing no faith in him as a manager, criticizing decisions on team and substitutions, saying he doesn't have the nerve to attack in away games, and making prophecies that he'll be out by November.
It's that a mob or just the knee jerk reaction to losing a game?
OK you fucking wumI’m not slagging hecky off you donut![]()
Probably busy wanking? There were a LOT of wankers on here after Sunday but they’ve gone quiet now, seems like a point away from home is enough to bring them out.
