Lets get some perspective everyone it was Wilders first match in charge he's only been back a week Rome wasn't built in a day at least theyblooked a little more like a team
For the first 20 mins they looked interested as for the rest of the 70 mins nah, reverted to previous efforts this season so far.

If that was a Selles managed team you definitely wouldn’t have said that. It was absolutely the same as we’ve seen all season. I’m not saying that Wilder is to blame but please don’t pretend anything was better today

Wilder in, Wilder out, bring back Hecky, 4231 or 352, Cannon, American owners. I've completely lost it with everything. The whole thing makes me so sad, even depressed. Is there any point in going anymore? I'm at that point.
The most annoying thing is that football affects us like someone has died. It’s just a stupid game of 22 men kicking a pigs bladder around. I wish I didn’t care about it!

Why do seem to have feast or famine seasons.

Like we are either heading for promotion or relegation, we don't often get a steady coast along to mid table season.

Wilder has now lost 6 of his last 9 games as our manager

I have the upmost respect for non season ticket holders who are still shelling out good money to come to the lane knowing what we know now about this team.

Said it before, but this season became a write off for me as soon as we appointed Selles. I actually lost interest as soon as we finished outside the autos as there was no rescuing the promotion.

It’s a strange feeling but this season, after such a strong season last year, almost against the odds, was always going to be hard

We were going to lose players, we needed a mini rebuild and of course the impact of losing the play offs, with the season being extended, physically players had a shorter summer and mentally some will struggle to get their heads right.

We needed quick action in recruiting. Yes we know that sides leave it late to do business but to not sign permanent deals for key players until we’d already started the season is poor. Doing things earlier would send a message

Changing the manager was a risk, it’s not to say we had to keep Wilder, sensibility would perhaps suggest he had the best knowledge to fix things. Big summer, hit the ground running.

In the background, COH could’ve been manoeuvring, planning and rebuilding the club from the inside, with a view to eventually replacing Wilder with their culture change.

Now we’re probably set back for half a season with wilder having to work with what he has until Jan. It gives time for him to work with the owners to fix things properly and do things properly.

The owners have so much work to do to get the off field things right. Turn us into a real premier league outfit that players want to come to because we’re ahead of the game.

Wilder will need time and patience
Fans will also need to be patient now
And COH have to start working hard

Win, lose or draw, we still come back for more.

We're all asking more of the players in terms of more effort and dont quit when it gets hard. Get it's very different as we pay our hard earned money to watch it, but sometimes we have to play our part and also not quit when times are hard! Utb

I know I stand in line until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance, I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me
And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place and have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like "It's only 22 men kicking a pigs bladder around...."

Owd Sigmund Freud couldn’t figure that one out.
In life, I would say I’m a pretty cautious, level headed bloke…But sadly when it comes to United…I’m an absolute blithering idiot.
Although I enjoyed the previous two Chris Wilder stints I must admit I have criticised him in the past and was quietly excited at our new direction…But just like everybody else I too got suck into the triumphant “return of the king”…Now I’m on the fucking floor, yesterday was an absolute gut punch…Sometimes I wish I was less invested in this club.
