Thoughts on the kit?

Don’t like it.

Hoping 3rd kit is black and gold.

Also anyone wanting to offload our Green and gold in medium?

I actually have one I’ve been debating selling, only worn it a couple of times and I’ve got too many football shirts I literally never wear

Has everyone who’s moaning about the cost of the shirt taken into account how much things have gone up recently? It probably wouldn’t have cost £55 last year ! Fucking fish fingers are over £7 and they weren’t that much last year ! The shit state of the economy certainly means we are paying a premium for everything!
As ever UTB !

Difference is, are you paying £7 for birdseye and asda own brand.

Or are birdseye more expensive?

My point is, people pay more for brand names than they do own brand. And are a lot less fussy with own brand quality as you know you're getting a lesser quality product.

So when united are selling well known Adidas at the same price as lesser known Errea, I personally can see why some folk have problems. The quality difference is actually quite telling.

I was in the club shop today having a nosey around.
The design of the home kits are spot on. But the execution isn't.
The red colour looks too bright and the stitching is really poor. Noticeablely bad.
The texture feels like a dry-fit t-shirt you'd get for the gym for around £15.
The sizing is off (you need to size up at least 1) which means plenty will return if buying online.
Whilst I was in there a bloke was returning his because the badge on the back had peeled off.

I had a look at the leisurewear to see if there was anything I might buy but the quality is really dire. Everything had that nasty wiry nylon feel to it, as opposed to soft cotton.

It's a shame because I went in there with buying something in mind. But lose the Blades badge and it's just a really overpriced bit of cheap fabric.

The away kit concept excited me when I heard "think Ajax," but they'd have been far better off actually thinking Ajax rather than butchering it with that awful collar, trim and all of the black.

That sums up my thoughts. United have messed up, charging higher prices for lower quality stuff. Sad really. We've gone with a cheap end manufacturer.

That’s what all people who sell things say. What it actually means is that you’ve used it as a wank rag and worn it for bed every night for 2 years.

Must admit, I'm always baffled why they don't create a replica option in cotton rather than sweat yourself senseless synthetics.
I also don't know why they don't do a slight variation or even a retro one in a cycling top. I think that would tap into a new market.

Probably the best post on here. At least you've seen the shirts and leisure wear and can give your opinion on both. As well as design you've told us your opinion on the quality as well. One of my main issues was always about what the quality would be. As I've said, if they're charging £55, I want £55 worth of brand. I'm not getting that. We've seen a few pictures now where there are clear problems. The socks in the clubs very own promo video are faulty. The badges have a shadow suggesting the stitching isn't to the outside of the badge but slightly set back. Just too many issues.

If some like it then fine. But I do think many are blinded to the issues simply because it has a Blades badge on it. Let's be honest, if it didn't have a Blades badge on it you'd go nowhere near it for £55.

all about opinions though… pathetic to you but I personally think this thread is the forums magnus opus. A chef-d'œuvre for the ages.
170 Pages and the same wet wipes are still getting their knickers in a twist about an item of clothing. Utterly pathetic!
