Thoughts on the kit?

You didn’t pick anything off the rail. You just asked at the counter for the size you wanted and they fetched you a new sealed shirt.

The ones on the rails were for trying on only.

Training wear was taken from the rail and taken to the counter for purchase though.
They can’t stop you checking the product quality before you buy it though, surely. For a £55 item of clothing, I’d be checking it before I walked out of the shop.

I have only limited sympathy. I guess the silly cunt actually picked it up off the rail in the club shop and bought it? I assume the badge wasn’t peeling at the time, but I also assume the stitching was still Stevie Wonder quality.

Like when you see a whale-woman in leggings and think “she actually went in a shop and thought, ooooo they’re the belters for me”
Doesn't matter what you pick off the rail at the mo, they'll get you one that's in a cellophane packet and put the one that you've picked off the rail back on the rail.

So yes, you could search the rail for one that looks decent, but it doesn't matter anyway cause you might still get one where the stitching is crap.

That's pathetic. Its my shirt. I have a right to inspect it to high heaven before purchasing it.

Considering that image a few pages back, could I ask for a refund for what I would regard as a faulty product? Because if that isn't faulty and has passed quality control, then the standards at Errea are on the floor.

If you buy a product and it's faulty you get a refund or an exchange.

If you don't buy one, you get to whinge about it for free on behalf of others 🤣

The hoody and training top I got Saturday are both fine, didn't buy a shirt.

Can you not read the posts above on this very same page?

Ask to take it out of the wrapper to inspect it, I'd suggest they'll be doing that anyway if you are having any personalisation.

That or ask if you can buy the one on the hanger you've inspected.

At worst, if not, open it just after purchase, then any problems ask for it swapped.

Do we have any more examples of the dodgy stitching or has this lad got a dud?

You’re dragging this “I’m not buying it” thing out aren’t you 🤣
Not really. I've said for a while I expected it to be poor stamdard/quality. I'm not a brand snob either, if I like something I'll buy it regardless of name. But I still expect decent work for £55. That just isn't decent by any means. Its not too much to ask is it?

Shorts are bang on. But not for £30.

I tried three of the hoodies on in the shop on Saturday morning and noticed the badges in slightly different positions on all three.

On the two red ones one has a slightly wonky/rotated badge and the other had it raised slightly higher up the hoodie compared to the Errea logo. The one on the white version seemed to have the badge located in the correct position.

£55 fucking quid, for a lesser known manufacturer, and a shirt that's late?

Get real!
How much was it last season by Adidas Kozzy? It is very expensive for sure, but that just seems to be the way things are these days. I love the new kit, still can't believe we're playing in stripes again for what seems like the first time since 1997! To be fair not just for Adidas years, in the 21st century we've played in full red and white striped kits only a handful of times, 2002 - Patrick, Macron when Harry Maguire was here, and this one. That's my recollection anyway! I'll not be buying and kit at £55 but when it goes to £20 I'll be on it like a rash!

A smile wouldn't have gone amiss..

That mirror needs cleaning!

Yeah. Or just remove the stitching as it’s not actually serving any purpose as far as I can see. Been better not having it there.
I can't actually see a purpose for the stitching either. I did wonder that. Looks like they've let Michael J Fox loose on it
