We have all loved having Norwood this last few seasons, but last season he was dissapointing and, OK after just two games he's carried on for me, from last season.

His passing has been poor, remember this is his main role in the side, picking it up deep and spraying the ball around and he isn't doing it well enough, is the young lad Doyle when fit the player to replace him?
I don't know enough about Doyle to know but from what I've read, Doyle, when fit sounds like he could/should be.

Nar den. Good werent it. Few points:

- Ndiaye is absolutely quality. 9/10 performance. Hope one of the Watford lot remembered to get Cresswell out of his back pocket before they got back on the coach.

- Norwood shouldn't be on set pieces.

- Berge was very good.

- Ahmedhodzic with a brilliant debut. Couldn't really ask much more.

All in all a relatively easy win against a half decent outfit with, arguably, our 2 best, highest rated players on the bench, Khadra and McAtee. To enable us to get them in the side, I'd put Norwood on the bench, and play Berge alongside Fleck. We're still 1 CDM signing short, but this would just about do, and Berge can still get forward. Then it's Ndiaye, McAtee and Khadra just behind Brewster
Not bad until u said fleck, should not be in the starting 11 simple as

Spoke to mate who watches Cardiff and Doyle was on loan there last season, they wanted him back, he said he's too good for us (Cardiff) and he'll be playing in the prem in a season or so. However, my main concern is his injury....................just be our luck................................

Nah. 5 out of 10. Ask Pompey.

I thought it was a fantastically professional, 1 sided game. But still people look for the negatives
They aren't negatives.
Any successful person or team will tell you that improvement must be relentless + you must identify + minimise your weaknesses.
The minute you think you're good enough you start to regress

I hope those who dare to say Norwood had a bloody good game have the nerve to say it on the "My Take" SuperEgo Forum!

Another snarky comment from one of the forum's more prolific cowards.

Come on ... tell us why Norwood is such a superb asset, apart from the tired old tropes like 'he makes us tick' and 'we are better with him in the team' without the fucking gumption to provide evidence. C'mon, fire up that Norwood Bingo Card and out with all the crap whilst missing what most others actually see and comment on this forum.

You can't, I know this. It's far easier and better for your own fragility to play the player. Sez it all about you

Yeah, 5/10. Problem with that?

Then explain his propensity, especially in the second half, to cough up possession easily and play us into a counter he can't get goal side of. Not like he's got form for this. Seem to recall two seasons ago he did the same at Crystal Palace and was left fluttering in Eze's slipstream, frantically pointing at shit for no specific reason. He's still doing it this season and did id early days at Watford and did it at the Lane on Saturday.

See? I provide substance to my argument, and it's about Oliver Norwood. You just have a chubby on about me and will stop at nowt to try vainly to one-nil me at any chance.

Pathetic MB. Really pathetic. BTW - 5/10. If you have any other evidence, let's hear it.

the goalie guessed the right way and made a good save .....but Norwood should have seen in his run up the goalie had set off that. way 4 seconds earlier.

Don’t agree, re Norwood. Or Fleck. But I will always happily dish out “likes” for an OP whose author cites the frankly irreplaceable Woodwardfan in Shoutbox 👍

It is time to replace Norwood and Fleck. Norwood gives the ball away and this was evident again on Saturday. In the second half we surrendered the midfield and just kept giving the ball back to them. If the opposition press Norwood he becomes totally ineffective. If he were a dog he would be a pointer as he is very good at it.
