Clark gets another chance for me, he was shaky first 20 but settled, but if we had Bash or even JLT fit they’d start. Lowe and Stevens dropped, i wouldn’t even bench Lowe, ship him out quick.

Norwood stays, despite the mistakes we have a lack of viable options, a new CM partner in Berge and i think he could do better. 2x CAMs to help the midfield and create, Sharp up top to finish said chances. Brewster on at 60.

Where are the leaders in that team ?
Apart from Ndiaye , where's the grit & determination & will to win ?

As a midfield there is simply no output, be that assists or goals and neither is playing a defensive role.

I'd like us to rethink central midfield.

Instead of throwing it all out, put McAtee next to Norwood. He is an attacking midfielder and he is left footed. It doesn't mean he has to play number 10. Try these two together.

In front of them, I'd be happy to try Berge or Khadra as a 10 behind N'Diaye and either Sharp or Brewster (instead of having N'Diaye too deep). You still have the option of taking off a forward and bringing on the one you left out of Khadra/Berge.

I'd then like to see Coulibaly used initially as an impact sub to inject some energy.

I think you're limited in defence due to injuries.

Agree about Osborne and fleck no output in terms of goals and assists but it also highlights how woefully shit brewster (who you have started) has been for us, Osborne has more league goals and loads more assists playing mainly as a reserve wing back
 



Drove past John Fleck in Catcliffe last night, only got a brief glimpse of him but I could tell he looked fired up and ready to start today. On the other hand, his Mrs could have sent him to Whitby's to pick up the chippy tea and he was trying to remember the order.
 
I don't think the team is going to look that pretty. The midfield feels so unbalanced. I see teams with 1 or 2 AMCs behind a striker(s) but we haven't really lined up that was since Duffy. Hecky/Berge see Berge as a CM.

either way, it's feel incredibly obvious that we're short of a a tackling and energetic midfielder. We probably stick with a flat 3 because 2 would get overrun.

Brewsters played 15 minutes competitive football since the first 20 minutes against Peterborough in February and up to that point since returning from his previous injury he was at
last showing his ability playing in his natural position

I dont want to see RND in the team, gives away too many freekicks, and against millwall thats not a good tactic.and would like to see khadra, mcatee both start

If Sharp and Brewster are both fit and I’m a Millwall defender I’m praying we pick Brewster. It doesn’t matter how old Sharp is, he scares oppo defenders with his reputation as a goal scorer and they know they’ll get some physicality from him as well.

Fleck shouldn’t start unless it’s his 1 good game in 5, he needs to be honest and let Hecky know before the game if he’s gonna bother putting a performance in or not.

I want us to pick players who are fit and ready to play, no point rushing or gambling with anyone at this stage of the season, even if alternatives are not that convincing.
 



At Watford United had a throw in around the half way line, Enda Stevens had the ball in his hands and was stood looking, and thinking about who he was going to throw it to.

There were six United players in the picture and not one of them moved a solitary muscle.

Enda Stevens had the ball in his hand for five seconds, six seconds, seven seconds, eight seconds, looking for somebody to do something, and I'm screaming at the telly "Somebody make a fucking move"

But no, nobody moved, it was as though I'd pressed pause.

Suddenly from the right of the screen appeared Ndayie trying to make himself available, and the ball was thrown in his general direction.

Whilst the ball was travelling through the air the same six players in the shot were still stood there watching it, probably shouting "De plane boss, De plane"

This is why I want, the full Kevin Keegan style, with Ndayie, Doyle, McAtee, Khadra in the team so that they can get working together and moving off the ball for each other

Otherwise United will play one of them at a time and their skilful efforts will bring very little reward because nobody will be on the same page as them.

So get them all in the team and fuck defending, we can't defend without somebody having at least one brainfart anyway
