We seem to have the supply line, but who's going to score the goals? Brewster, Sharp, Jebbo. Not concerned about Billy boy but are we just hoping the other 2are going to come good?

We are short of out and out strikers, but Ndaye can play as striker and McAtee looks like a great finisher.

Brewster - 17
Sharp - 10
Berge - 9
McAtee - 7
Khadra - 6
Bogle - 5
McPub - 0

hope that clears it up

Only 54 goals across the team?? Relegation more likely than promotion then unless we'll try to win every game 1-0.

He may not be the best or a natural finisher but surely Ndiaye will get at least 1 🤪

Ndiaye can have 6 then

That takes it to 60..... then 15 from elsewhere including the usual 12 OGs and we're on a decent number. Simple. Easy. Done.

Honestly I’d declare my eternal support for any club who plays partridge clips after goal.

Imagine Brewster smashes on in the top
Bins from 30 yards and the PA kicks in with

SHIT DID YOU SEE THAT?? He must have foot like a traction engine

We were 5th top scorers last season with 63 goals

We've lost 18 of those goals scored by players who've left (mostly MGW).

In all 17 players scored plus OG.

Can Khadra, Mcatee, Doyle, Brewster etc fill the gap and a bit more. I don't see why not.

No more MGW but we should be able to spread it across the team and be better for it. No more huge reliance on one player.

Very important not to be loose at the other end though, need to be conceding no more than 40

Brewster shitloads if he stays fit with McAtee setting them up, Ndiaye double figures, Billy about 10 off the bench, McAtee 8, 3 of them free kicks.

For the next comic relief, I’d love to hear Biggs do that. “Twat. That is liquid football”

Why are people convinced Brewster will score “shitloads”? He was starting to look better before he got injured, but didn’t look amazing by any stretch.

I’d back Sharp to score more. I also think now Ndiaye has been working on his strength, he could play up front.

Brewster has turned into Shearer whilst injured. If he had stayed injured a bit longer he would have reached Messi status.

If Sharp plays 30 games then he will get around 15 goals.

Not sure I am confident anyone else will get double figures , might look like this come the end of the season

Brewster 8
Jebbo 4
Ndiaye 7
McAtee 7
Rest of midfield 4
Goals from Corners or set pieces from any other source 6
McBurnie 🤣

Not probably gonna be enough for top six.

We have the players now that our strikers, barring Hecky deciding to turn into Blackwell - that they have no real excuses not to hit double figures.

Far too much creativity not to.

Iliman will be our POTY, and if we don't go up he'll be gone, if we do, he'll be gone for big money at the end of his first PL season. Be a CL player in 2 years.

Because he did for Swansea on loan and England age groups before coming to us in our worst season ever which utterly shot his confidence. Yes he got injured when he'd just started to perform so hadn't been "amazing"...but had shown plenty in those few weeks when Hecky gave him some confidence back to show there's a proper striker there.

That's why I think there's some believing he'll score "shitloads". I would imagine we're all rather hoping he does aren't we?

imagine being concerned about who scores the goals as long as someone does. almost as if some here would trade in half a dozen players chip in four each and take a 20 goal striker instead

36 goals in 46 games?

Not enough for top six?

It's barely enough to finish 24th!

Of course we are, but we know from elsewhere that scoring a few for Swansea and at youth level, doesn’t necessarily mean much.

I’d sooner people tamper their expectations before adding this pressure on him to score a lot, based on a good month or so, before his injury.

Ndaiye will easily get into double figures for me.. he can even make goals for himself and bagged about 7 last season, and with a bit of luck could have been more...All types of goals aswell.. Headers, right foot, left foot.. Inside and outside the box.
Hoefully Brewster will be in double figures aswell along with Bill.

Ndiaye is a very capable striker and goalscorer in my view but he has two problems..... firstly, his fitness to play enough minutes, and secondly, the new competition for places

True mate. I'm not sure writing it on a forum will crank the pressure up too hard though.
