Aye, I couldn't really give a shit what they think about us, the main point is they think (know) he's absolute quality. Guardiola has spoken for years about Foden, Palmer and McAtee.

I hope he stays fit as in the Championship he's bound to get some nasty challenges (MGW and Ndiaye apart from anything else were/are strong and can look after themselves) but in terms of quality he should be up there with the best we've had... it's like getting Phil Foden 3-4 years ago on loan.

Disappointing to be honest, because I was quite happy for them to be succeeding and I always had them down as being quite grounded. The success has gone to their heads though. Shame really.

I’d like to address the “pep clearly doesn’t rate him” comments. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Pep didn’t want to loan him out at all and instead it was Mcatee and his family who took Pep out for dinner and had to sell a loan move to him that changed things.
