Why, having signed the players we have, are we still trying to put square pegs in round holes.

Is the training pitch THAT bad that we are suffering more injuries?

what on earth are you on about

Norrington Davies playing CB, when we've signed 2 CBs and already had 3 at the club.

Berge is and never will be a CAM, we have signed Khadra to play CAM.

NDiaye is never going to be a striker. His best role is behind the strikers.

Well 2 centre halves were injured and 1 was suspended

Berge is absolutely a CAM and Khadra will get plenty of games.

No no, the people on the forum don't like the CB debate. They think professional footballers don't know how to play with 4 at the back. They only know how to play 5 at the back, therefore we MUST play 5 at the back.

Exactly so why was Hecky still trying to play 5 at the back? Playing Clark, RND and Osborn completely out of position?

It baffles me that we would rather go with a LWB at CB than change to a back 4 for a one off game, due to injuries/suspensions.

Baffles me how Jebbison gets in ahead of Brewster, too tbh

TBH i think the Jebbo decision was to do with Brewster's fitness from when i was listening to Hecky's interviews in pre-season. He didn't think Brewster was up to scratch even though he was scoring

It baffles you jebbison gets in ahead of Brewster. Did you actually watch tonight’s game ?

I said it in the shoutbox, but I would have a 70% fit Brewster over an 100% fit Jebbo.

Jebbo and NDiaye upfront were never gonna create much. Brewster was scoring pre-season, the match fitness will come quicker with competitive game time.

I agree with your overall point but perhaps not so much your examples.

Norrington-Davies is relatively competent defensively and us left sided. Playing him LCB, where he played pre season isn't unthinkable.

You can though ask why in a three Clark couldn't have played in the centre and Egan on the right. Quite possibly this was part of the reason Clark got booked.

I thought most had agreed that Sander as a right sided attacking midfielder or even number 10 had worked well towards the end of the season. Nathan in the Examiner suggested he was one of those that impressed. He didn't impress me. Perhaps he's been asked to big him up while the window is still open!

You could also argue that N'Diaye is a little wasted in a deeper role. He isn't Gibbs-White. We shouldn't fall into that trap. We should develop him as a centre forward rather than an attacking midfielder.

Play a 10 behind him and Sharp or him and Brewster if needs be. Maybe even Khadra behind.

Part of the line up looked awkward today just because players such as Bash AND Anel AND Robinson were all out.

From the outset it's clear you aren't particularly clued up on the players' availability. Yet you start a thread to moan and complain.

RND starting in a back three was fine, what was weird was that after we made all the changes we ended up with Baldock at RCB rather than just going to a back four.

Apart from one run Baldock did nothing going forwards and both left backs were dire, so not sure why he persisted with the wingbacks, but that's more a general lack of plan B rather than square pegs

Anel is 100% suspended because of the training pitch.
