Thoughts on the kit?

I don't want to turn into a bedwetter, however (!), I genuinely think its poor that when a kits released and the its not available for purchase for a large part of the fanbase (kids). Just have to read this thread to see its all the kids been stressed about its design and release date.

I'm not against an overly simplistic design to be fair, basic brief can be quality. We've had some nonsense these past few years: all white backs, white shoulders, green sponsors. I quite like the simplicity.

The two main concerns remain though, until we know more:

1. Quality, is it cheap and sweaty?
2. How much will it cost? I asked the club about the price banding and whether it was comparable to Adidas (and after such a delay) and they dodged the question.

What's more annoying the people moaning or the people saying "how can it look shit its red and white stripes"?

Yes because there's never ever been a shit red and white striped kit has there 😏

This is what I'm interested to find out. It's ok going with a cheaper brand like errea but no one will be happy paying Adidas prices.

I like it think it is a nice effort.

When looking at the shirt (i.e. not wearing it) the left side appears not to be symmetrical with the other side. Where the sleeve meets the shoulder, there appears to be the beginnings of another red sleeve on the left side whereas on the right side there isn't and therefore looks neater?

Can't understand how a professional kit manufacturer could make it asymmetrical in that regard?

My only bugbear of the kit really, but then again this may vary as different sizes of the shirt may not have this problem? But we won't find this out until we can see them in the stores. I don't know for sure but reckon Sharp is either a Medium or Large which would be my size too so I'm not holding out much hope that my shirt will be without this problem!

On a side note presumably the club doesn't have enough of the shirts at this moment in time as they said it is only available at the BL store, so sounds like Meadowhall will be without for the time being.
You see it exactly the same way, hats off!!
This couldve been a great kit, but for the finish.

You sound like you're a couple of years off bedwetting again yet, don't worry.

You've probably already seen this but on the website it states the following...

The bespoke shirt, designed and manufactured in Europe in conjunction with new Technical Kit Partner Erreà, an OEKO-TEX certified manufacturer; has the benefit of a highly technical and performing fabric: Ti-energy nanotechnology, antiviral and antibacterial water-repellent fabric.

Not sure what all that means but it sounds like it should be decent quality material.

£45-£55 would be my guess, like most football shirts

Have any collar-wankers showed up yet? This thread is moving quite fast and it's difficult for me to laugh at everybody who needs me to. Bear with me and I will get to you 👍🏼
Just me but I'm not real, I'm just a bot that Foxy has placed into the forum to create reaction and stimulate debate. ;)
