Some of the decisions tonight were baffling. If this is one of the most competitive leagues in the world, then why is the refereeing so poor?

Honestly don't know, it's one of the great unanswerable English football questions, like why does Joe Hart keep getting picked for England.

Absolutely shocking from the officials tonight and most games this season. Can't believe how much better the level of officiating was in League One. The level of cheating and gamesmanship doesn't help at all though. I'll lose interest in football very quickly if that becomes a way of life in English football as it is in La Liga. Not watching shit like that.

Can't blame that on officials. Yes the standard is poor, but we never looked like scoring that second half.

Too many obvious passes easily cut out and too rushed a lot of the time. QPR did a job on us... And very well too.

At least 3 occasions where Billy was being man handled and every time Brooks tried to pass a player he was wrestled to the ground. Don't get me wrong, the performance wasn't great, but my god!

Linos are consistently atrocious. Honestly, it's like most of them have just rolled out of the boozer.

Should find a way of bringing through ex players/players who have played in the lower leagues. Just anyone who has played the game and know what their doing would be nice

Totally agree, in fact I find it ridiculous that this isn't the standard method to be honest.

Andy Butler is a ref, and has been in charge for a few of our Sunday league games a few years ago. He's pretty good actually.
Also a rare occasion when you know the referee is better than you at football

How is it that players in the premier league get the faintest touch, go down get a foul, Brooks (as just one example) gets wrestled/thrown to the floor and we get nothing. Thought qpr went down too easy when we were strong in the challenge

One of the challenges on Brooks the guy dived on him like a keeper! Lino gave fuck all, then there was another foul, same result. I know this ref has form for being shit but I didn't think he was too bad, yeah some wrong but nothing consistently bad, that grey haired lino though, I think there must have been a big titted bird in the crowd opposite as he had no idea what was going on in the game.

PL ref Dean Whitestone was useless/blind ref yesterday @ the KC Stadium kindly awarding the CHEATING tigers all 3 points. Clear dive from the Hull City player should of been a free kick to City and a RED card for diving. I hope the BLADES don't get him this season with what a USELESS ref he was yesterday
