Would never happen to our massive cousins in S6.

From what I’ve read elsewhere we have met a long list of criteria set out by EUFA to meet the standards required to hold matches at Bramall Lane. There has been no problem with the press area from what I can see. Sounds like a self entitled southern prick coming to the frozen north late in the game and expecting everyone to fawn over them because they come from ‘that there London.’

how strict are they on turnstiles in regards to stuff you take in? I assume I’ll be fine with my portable charger although if it was Wembley I’d probably get tackled to the ground
It just says anything larger than the size of an A4 sheet will not be allowed in. And no guns, knifes etc. It also says:

Charge your phone before arrival, but you may want to have a small power bank with you to be on the safe side. If you have a mobile ticket, you’ll need your phone to show it. The UEFA Women’s EURO mobile app will be your trusted companion throughout your tournament journey, and don't even get us started on all those photos and videos you'll be sharing on your socials.

Good stuff cheers

Hoping the club capitalises on the success of hosting these games and has a plan in place to bid for similar events in the future. Good that we have the men's under 21s game versus Germany in September, too.

All the upgrades that have been done we will keep, apart from the pitch size changes, all paid for by uefa.

I just hoping for a moment like this tonight

Hmm is it all paid for by UEFA? I thought they had adopted FIFA's new approach that clubs/cities must fund their own upgrades. UEFA then pays the club/city 'rent'.

All well and good moaning about this now England are through to the SF, but if they hadn't have, would the match have sold out? Probably not.

If they'd had a larger venue (Stadium of Light for example) then you'd have potentially had a semi final without the host nation in a 50,000 seater stadium that would've been barely half full.

Mille Bright, Ellie Roebuck and Beth England all started out playing for Sheffield United ladies. Only Bright is likely to start tonight. Ellie Roebuck is definitely a Blade and season ticket holder from Beighton. Millie Bright is originally from Killamarsh an area with its fair share of dark side supporters so likely to be of the blue and white persuasion. Beth England is from Barnsley.

Other SUFC connections are Alex Greenwood who is JOC's partner and has done well coming on as substitute. Also the goalkeeping coach is Darren Ward who was our coach for 5 years under CW.

The proof of that will be attendance at Milton Keynes tomorrow. That's just north of London so they will be ok.

The city of Sheffield, council and the people, the club and everyone else involved have done the city proud. Plus from talking to a friend who has been involved helping organising this, it has not gone unnoticed by UEFA.
The big crowds will have helped too. 23,000 for Netherlands v Switzerland? That's pretty good!

I have Swedish friends and a lad from Sheffield there who live over here in Stockholm inform me that Sheffield has indeed made an impression.
