Reyt looking forward to bespoke kit release, modelled by Khadra tomorrow, me.

No chance of being let down or disappointed, at all.

It says our will be ready for the first game and Watford are up against it to have a kit for then.
Leeds and Middlesbrough are already having to wait at least a month and then it goes through lots of other club who are going to be delayed.
Supply chain issues they suggest is the cause.
Fucking Brexit.

New away kit leaked!

I get the global supply issue. What is frustrating to understand is why the club don't release the designs now.
At least we will know what they look like.
Some will love them, others will not. If you like them buy them.
If they are as good as what has been said then there should be no issues.

This is a fan concept from a few years ago but quite liked it as a 3rd kit, not seen it shared so thought i would. I'm hoping 1 of the kits pushed it a little more and was a bit different.

Not to get all billy big bollox but you’d have thought that financially errea it would have made sense for them to prioritise the ‘bigger’ sides kits.

We must sell more kits than say Lincoln or beershot for example…. Seems odd we are seemingly the only United world side still waiting any sort of release.

Might be relevant if the kit was made in Europe !!!!
Sadly it generally isn’t so we are stuck with a global problem involving China and COVID

No, the kits are made* in Europe.

*To what extent the the kits are made in Europe I don't know, it could be that the only thing done in Europe is the adding of badges, but Europe is where the finished kits are shipped from, and hence liable to customs charges/delays.

But how come two of our United World sister teams have had their Errea shirt launch, along with many out Errea shirt launches?
Can't blame Brexit seeing as Boro have got theirs!
One of the reporters mentioned the takeover* had an affect on the shirts being released too.

Beerschot and Chateroux have both moved over to Errea but neither were in the process of being bought out so their shirts may have been sorted months ago.

*I interpret that as the potential buyer didn't want to move to Errea and be tied to this United World stuff, and why would they?

Aldershot, Hartlepool, Cheltenham, Rochdale... Have all launched Errea kits this season!

If only Abdullah would have done his research like most of this forum did and realised that Mauriss was a hologram he could have saved himself the heartache and hassle.

When did they sign the deals and get organising of these kits though? It really does look as we haven't been that organised and left ourselves hostage to fortune.
I'm not getting uptight about the shirt as I don't buy them and the style won't bother me, but when even Blyth Spartans have had an Errea shirt launch!
I feel sorry for all the fans who do want to buy the latest shirt in time for summer and/or in time for the start of the season.
It just feels that yet again the club let the fans down with something that's important to them and the lack of real communication from the club is annoying.

It's a great commercial deal though. Snek said it was.

I also understand the supply chain issues (now that they've been explained or even mentioned), but like you, question why there isn't even a single official picture of the kit the players will be playing in on Monday? If the kit is ready as we're told, why not give us a picture followed by a piece saying "because of supply chain issues globally we cannot promise a sale date for supporters."

The fact there still isn't a picture has me questioning whether there's even a kit or if they're winging it. Bespoke? I doubt it.

The article actually says that our issue is the takeover stuff, not the supply chains.

Which makes no sense to me given that irrespective of who is in charge the contract was signed ages ago.

To all the remoaners, its global supply issues, port blockages and supposed takeover issues etc that are to blame.

If.it was Brexit how come we got our kit the last 2 years as if my memory serves correctly we left the EU on 1st January 2020?

No-one is saying that Brexit is the sole cause of the delay.

They used to hand-deliver them from Adidas and bring them across on a chartered boat up the Don, but I've just had a text from Klaus and he says he's been sent to Rwanda? Shocking if true
