I mean the stupid pig has only gone and given us a bit of hope hasn't he? Doesn't he know it's hope that kills you?

He should have put together a team to match peoples expectations, that's what he should have done, a team that would bumble around mid-table or something. This challenging for automatic nonsense is simply not the blades way.

Sack the pig McCabe. You know it has to be done.

If it wasn't for Ched, we would be bumbling around in mid-table. Most of these players have played in the Championship, some higher. Most are on big money. Anything other than promotion will be failure. I'm not blaming Wilson, but I expected him to have a go at half time and for us to come out all guns blazing after a nothing 1st half - but incredibly we were even worse. Such an important game - but you wouldn't have known it watching that performance.

I thought that everything that went wrong around here was always Montgomery's fault!

In all seriousness I think Wilson has done a very good job so far. However: We've been unlucky in recent weeks with key injuries/absences but as they say, chance favours the prepared. We've played with fuck all in reserve at the back all season and it has only just cost us. Similarly we don't really have anyone to replace McDonald. Yet we've tried to sign every mediocre forward going! A few very key positions have been left very light, which I know is easy to say in hindsight. That's my only real beef with Wilson so far, he's done very well overall.

The infamous squid of despair has once again spread its ink of despondancy over Bramall Lane.

Lets all lie down and sob into our pillows.........

Mind you it's not often that you lose your entire back 4.

That's about it, however this wine isn't half making a good job of forgetting.

Well quite. It was a freak occurence. That said, with Collins out we had to move a Left Back to the Centre. Just one man out and already people were playing out of position. We had zero cover at Centre Half, just Full Backs who could play there in a pinch.

Strange how the season has flip flopped. Towards the beginning of the season we were strong in the second half now we seem to have a good 1st half get the lead, then allow the opposition back into the game in the 2nd.

Wilson has to take the blame for not replacing k mac yesterday was proof again that we need a ball player in midfield

If I picked the team, I wouldn't pick Hoskins on the right. He's not a midfielder, and neutralises Lowton's overlaps, which is just about our most dangerous ploy.

That said, with Flynn out and Willo forced to play inside while Macca is out, I really couldn't come up with an obviously better alternative. :(

sack the tea lady , its her fault

languishing in 2nd spot , all because she thought pyramid tea bags were better , stupid woman

Its all McDonalds fault. Selfish prick

I saw him yesterday and he said it was definitely not him, but like bladetoolong says, it was the tea lady ;)

But in all seriousness, speaking of McDonald, when getting a tour of the hallowed turf yesterday he was out doing a good amount of fitness training on the Lane's pitch and he looked to be coming on nicely. Of course, I couldn't gauge it just from a five minute observation (we were going all over the place and chatting with Dave Mac) but I'd guess he's not far off now from a return. I truly hope so at least

How about bringing a winger in like Wednesday have done twice this season. If they hadn't done they wouldn't even be in the frame never mind pushing for automatic promotion. Wilson's had 9 months to bring a wide man in and his failure to do so may well cost us dearly.

I agree. We are crying out for a pacey winger and have been for ages. The entire team lacks pace but a quick winger could make all the difference.

Monty was on the bench yesterday. If we'd have had a different player on the bench we would have won. Therefore it is Monty's fault. Keep up OB.
