Thoughts on the kit?

Someone inside the club told me recently we were trying to extend with adidas for another year, just as we did last year, as UW wanted to work with Errea for a year before making the switch for their lead club (us).

They couldn’t agree with adidas for whatever reason. If that’s true - and I have no reason to not believe it - then everyone needs to calm their shit. It makes sense and puts United first in terms of working professionally by working with Errea for a year. The adidas thing collapsing could have been out of United’s hands meaning the Errea agreement suddenly has to be fast tracked.

I myself see no issues. It’s later than other clubs but so fucking what? It’s not actually late as the nobody has ever promised anything. The leaked shirt has nothing wrong with it at all. It’s literally what most people always ask for. It’s only the made up delay shit and the brand snobbery what is tainting peoples view of it. Stick Laver+Adidas on it and everyone is suddenly frothing at the gash for it.

Discoveries from all kit threads:

People don’t know what the word ‘template’ actually means.
Using a similar template isn't a bad thing, but when combined with copying the pattern but just in different colours, it's shoes off time.

However, our 17/18 home shirt looked so much better than Bayern Munichs

I’m certain some people need to just complain because things seems to be going okay. We’ve got all our targets in so far barring being Gazumped by rangers (no shame) and we haven’t sold Berge for £20 and a bag of flumps

Who at United? And when can we ask for them to be unjustifiably sacked?

Do we wait for the official release or go straight in on a sponsor less, unironed shirt off Twitter?

I'll get the pitchforks! 😁
Champers, does anyone iron football shirts? Come to think of it, I don't iron any clothes apart from office work shirts and I don't even have to do that anymore.

Surprisingly easy to read that actually. The human brain, eh?

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteers be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe

They're not to everybody's liking, that would be an impossible task. I would place a big wager though that if the club had presented these designs to the fans to vote on, #4 doesn't win...

#1 is the best, but then I think it's close between £2 and #4.

Let's wait and see what the quality of the fabric is like, because the design is pretty good.
If all we can complain about is the collar and cuffs then I'd say that's not bad.

I’d definitely take the two quid - I want a £2 coin though, not a loada shrapnel.

Nobody knows if its its just red and white stripes or boring. Hell nobody even knows if we will have a kit ready haha

I should not get drunk then post stuff, i have taken the piss out of others for doing so, i feel like a tit.

Around 80% of my postings on here are made when drunk. Not sure I needed to explain that for anyone that has read them.

The fabric they're using is a new one I think? We're the only ones using it, so that's probably the bespoke bit.
Don’t think that’s true mate. Parma, Rochdale and QPR to name a few use that material too. The bottom left logo/badge thing is the ti-energy.

For me I like the designs, just concerned about the fabric looking shiny and cheap and feeling like a bin bag and not stretchy.

Edit: Feel like a fucking sad kit detective but I presume this will be the material with “texture” as seen on the close up of the QPR home kit…

Feels like we've done something to upset our new kit partners. All those kits look decent compared to ours

I don’t mind them but I suppose an official release picture looks much better than a wank picture of a shirt thrown on the floor 😂
