Errea....new kit supplier?

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the two leaked shirts aren't the finished article, but Errea's early stabs at the design.
We think that the yellow one was being lined up as the away shirt before Errea told us they couldn't meet the likely demand with it.
There are no sponsors on either of them, so they may be from a time when we didn't know which league we'd be playing in.
People on here have stated that United have gone back to Errea several times asking for design tweaks.
All this leads me to conclude that these may be some early designs from months ago.
That and the fact that they both look plain as fuck!

It really isnt. A yellow away kit immediately guarantees no kit clashes. Likewise pretty much any shade of blue. And if the home kit has an abundance of red/black, so does all white.

That home shirt is like when a dodgy pub band plays a cover of 'Wonderwall'.

Technically it's all the same chords & lyrics but it feels more like a poor imitation than the genuine quality of the real thing.
Those fine details do make a difference, so for those who are wondering why there's a fuss because after all it's red & white stripes etc, or for those who are underwhelmed (as I am), by these but can't quite put their finger on it, I think that's why.
I don't hate them, and a very basic shirt like this will never be too bad, but at the same time they do feel a tad too simplistic.

Yeah, and that. Bespoke means someone at the club had a hand in the design apparently. Who? Maybe this is why we get templates? Templates are designed by people who know how to design and make them.

Unless we make the stitching out of Tony Currie’s hair and Peter Ndlovu’s gloves, with a picture of Paul Pescholisolido screaming ‘oh my god’ on the front and an effigy of Dean Hammond on the back, of course. Now that would be bespoke…

I just can’t recall this being the case with the home shirts.

The PL 20/21 relegation shirt was a template used on a few kits, Germany away in all black was one.

The bouncing day massacre kit was plain as fuck, completely flat red and white stripes with black pinstripes and no hint of any kind of pattern or fancy fabrics and a plain round neck and cuffs (topped off with shitloads of cheap black fabric for the sleeves and sides). So I find it weird that people are complaining about single colour collar and cuffs and plain fabric. The simplicity of it is what makes it good rather than all the faffy little extra bits that the kit designer wannabes want to add.

Just in from work and missed all the excitement! I like both shirts. Simple clean, retro designs.The gk should have been an away kit. The fabric used doesn't look particularly breathable and neither look "bespoke" when compared to some of the other errea shirts we've seen.

The fabric they're using is a new one I think? We're the only ones using it, so that's probably the bespoke bit.

So what's 'bespoke' about it then? You were the one telling me it was late into being because it was bespoke. So come on GokWan, talk us through why this design is bespoke....

If there is another identical shirt in the currently available Errea catalogue then it’s a template…… if we are the only team using this shirt design then it is bespoke and has been designed with the club.

If you or someone else wants to show everyone the existing Errea template or another team using this same design in these or different colours then you can continue to say it’s not bespoke and rub our noses in it till the cows come home.

Plain as fuck is exactly what a lot of people want - especially with the home shirt.
