Thoughts on the kit?

If the home kit turns out to be terrible is it a fair statement to say 99% of people will buy it anyway?

The away and 3rd kit its likely people can easily walk away from it, but the home i imagine most will buy it no matter how dire it is.

Personally i cant a United shirt if i even slightly dislike it, home shirt included.

Was just curious what are the views of others?

That's the thing for me.

Like most things you buy, you've got to like it haven't you? The solid backs I think have been the most divisive, for me they just don't look right. Solid red better than solid white but it's like choosing which foot you'd like to be kicked in the balls with.....

99% of the people who were going to buy it anyway, aye maybe. Not 99% of our fans in general!

By the next friendly, these shirts are going to be atleast off white, maybe even grey or cream!!Screenshot_20220716-104443_Samsung Internet.jpg

I’m the same.

Didn’t but either of last season’s shirts. The black and grey away shirt I just didn’t like that much and the home shirt I liked the look of at first but the fact the black pinstripes were offline so to speak and slightly into the red rather than being the actual border between the red and white stripes fucks with my OCD too much.

I never buy a shirt straight away. Think the last one was 2014 tbh.

I wait until they're 50% off and then buy the nicest looking one, doesn't matter if home or away.

I think its a combination of how the kits look and how we perform in them. If the shirts are gopping and poor quality but we win the league they will still be instant classics regardless and most blades if they didn't initially indulge will be scrambling for shirts come next March

The most recent example of your scenario (seemingly to me anyway) hasn't gone down as a classic, the 2018/19 Ramsdens Currency we got promoted in with the solid white back that made us look like Derby County from behind?

A side note I rather liked it TBH.

Surely won’t be worn that much ! Red white black home kit , red white possibly black away kit 😂 looks the the third kit will be worn quite a bit , loving the sound of the away shirt if the ITK leaks are correct!
As ever UTB

It's all white with a single red stripe down the middle.
We'll be able to double it up with black shorts and socks if we need to.

That kit we've been playing in wouldn't clash.
Maybe at Stoke where they have a lot of white but not at Sunderland whose shirt is standard red/white stripes.
It's like saying Leeds/Derby can't play in white against us.

So where is the red on Leeds and Derbys kit Matt ? That’s why it’s different. It’s only my opinion but red and white stripes and white with a red stripe sound quite similar. I am not saying I am correct just my opinion . If it’s do different why the need for a third shirt ? I know it commercialism before anyone points that out !

There was never a problem in the 70's when we had a white away strip. Us and Stoke had white away shirts with red sashes and no one got confused when we played each other.

Then Forest, Bristol C and Palace have turned up at the lane multiple times dressed like this...

A skinny stripe, or fat like the Cantors/Ajax one?

You know that we will be playing in that come Watford. There won't be any excuses or reasons other than it will be the away kit for the season. This is the only shirt United have got despite the press release suggesting work has been ongoing for 12 months. This is the only sample we have. So expect to see this at Watford.

Home shirt on sale. Third kit. Then this one. For £50. Its utterly awful.
