Thoughts on the kit?

I'm just waiting for the moment where someone raises their hand and fesses up:

"I forgot to turn the machine on but we can still salvage this! We'll go all red training shirt for the home kit, all the incoming player photos have it anyway; we'll claim it was a clever hidden in plain sight marketing thing! Away shirt, easy; that basic white one that we ironed the sponsors and club crest onto in Hecky's hotel room! Third strip? Panic! Bugger! Any Chateauroux or Beerschot ones we haven't ironed the badges on yet? Problem solved! Any questions?"

😁

When you are agreeing a deadline at work and you say "what's the latest we can deliver."

That is the week before the season starts. Impossible not to deliver it that week.
"Right cool, when do you need these kits by"

- well in time for the first game of the season obviously

"Oh we'll have them to you for then yeah"

“Soooo how many do you need exactly by the first game?”

“11 minimum”

“Would you take 10?”

“FFS. Someone wind George up so he gets sent off in the tunnel”

Umbro fans (again)…is this aberration what you were going on about a better design quality???
In all fairness it's about as close as Real Madrid will ever get to massive Leeds so, probably an honor I'd imagine.
Might have missed it somewhere among the angst & apoplexy but DirtyLeeds kit not available to buy until end of August !

If the home kit turns out to be terrible is it a fair statement to say 99% of people will buy it anyway?

The away and 3rd kit its likely people can easily walk away from it, but the home i imagine most will buy it no matter how dire it is.

Personally i cant a United shirt if i even slightly dislike it, home shirt included.

Was just curious what are the views of others?

I think its a combination of how the kits look and how we perform in them. If the shirts are gopping and poor quality but we win the league they will still be instant classics regardless and most blades if they didn't initially indulge will be scrambling for shirts come next March
