What do you see as the run of games that could trip a promotion push up? For me the first few games is certainly up there,
Only my opinions here by the way.

Watford a (should be challenging top 6 all season at least)

Millwall h (in my opinion the dark horses and will be overlooked for a play off place)

Middlesbrough a (no need to explain this)

Sunderland h (they’ll have a huge away backing and vocal too, a good start to the season could see the belief of a huge club challenging for the PL again)

After that Blackburn and Luton 2 slippery ties.

But my major concern is mid February to start of April, some real tricky games in that period and it’s getting to the 6 pointer, nitty gritty end of the season, hopefully a bit of depth in the squad and a mid season break will see us through, I certainly believe in a top 6 finish but that run of fixtures from Middlesbrough at home on the 15th of February to Norwich away on the 1st of April is going to test us.

And what about Norwich??, the typical yo-yo club.
The amount of money theyve made from promotion and relegation over the past few years, must be ridiculous.
However they continue to be so good in the championship and so bad in the premier is astounding, especially when they must have the cash to drastically improve their squad, yet choose not too????
They will definitely be up there at the end.

Well, I had a dream last night that the first two games of the season were called off. One due to the pitch flooding and the second game, mid-match, due to a West Brom 2001-style exodus of players.

So maybe that’ll help our start to the season?

Any group between 1st August and 30th April.
Any successful team will go on winning runs from time to time and also lose games it didn’t expect to.

The Championship will again be a very competitive league, where bottom can beat top and vice versa and I can't see any team being a runaway leader like Fulham last season.

I think 1st will be a 3 horse race right to the death between WBA, Watford and Norwich.

I think we are going to have to settle for top 6 i’m afraid

One thing for sure is if the squad stays as is we're in for a lot of 1-0 or 0-0 games!

I think WBA and Watford have the potential to be awesome Championship teams on paper, but I also think they have just as much potential to be complete basket case clubs next season.

Worked at NCFC three weeks ago

Their money has gone into building state of the art training facilities that will set their infrastructure up for years to come . Spending more now on players but still careful .

We on the other hand blew our money and neglected our training facilities

Let’s just hope we have a great season and at the end of it we are proud of the lads. Just like we were last season. Isn’t it great to be a Blade.

If we're anywhere near the play-offs after August, that would be good going given the amount of injuries we have.
