Warnock will always be a pretty emotive figure in football for me, personally. I wasn't even at high school when Warnock took over The Blades. I was in my final year of sixth-form by the time he left. He was such a major part in my process of 'becoming a blade' purely because of the age at which I was while he was here. Being a relatively young Blade meant that Warnock and United were often hard to distinguish between.

I remember the first game back in the Championship after relegation and Robson's first game in charge. It was so hard to grasp and surreal to me that it wasn't Wanock in the dugout.

For what it's worth, egocentrism aside, I've always thought Neil was a good bloke and, in my opinion, it's a blessing that we still have characters like Neil and Olly at Blackpool in the game.

Lastly, loyalty works both ways. All this 'kissing the badge' cobblers is embarrassing. We know players and managers are just whores who are only after number one. The only loyal people in football are the fans.

Given that its possible to get sacked for being 3rd or 4th in our division or ditched after less than a year at chelsea, its hardly surprising managers are out for number one.
