Never saw much mentioned about it when he walked into his job with cuddly Ken.

Wasn't it truly wonderful seeing him bouncing about his technical area last Saturday with his head on fire again. Brought back some wonderful memories of his days with us. You could almost see the lasers of Kens eyes trained on him throughout the game.

I wonder if he will get through to the end of the season the way Bates runs his clubs. He won't have any money, he won't be able to get any new players in of any note. And when will he come knocking for Monty and get Kozzy out of retirement with his squirty flower and electric buzzer handshake to cheer the dressing room up.

Obviously I now hate him more than ever, but just wondered if other blades had got any views on old Top Blade knifing us in the back once more?

One last challenge eh Neil? Heres hoping.

still moaning about the ref i see.. bleating about some handball nonentity.. coming across like a nutcase
then you get DW being very calm and diplomatic on the tv.. how very refreshing not to have to be 'embarassed' by your own manager.. they can keep him

The TV cut away at the end of the game when you just heard "Fuc......" from Uncle Neil - would have been interesting to see what came next.

This Warnock thing is a bit like obsessing over your ex when they've been through three other relationships since you dumped them. You could get back together but you know it wouldn't be the same.

I don't understand it personally.

No strong feelings either way.

God whats with this obsession. How long is it since he left?
It's like a certain poster and a certain player we all know but at least thats in the right section.
Nothing to see here move on.

Haven't yet seen last night's QPR programme, but the QPR fan in my office says that although she could never stand NW, she hated to admit that he was the only one that actually came over well in the documentary about their lunatic owners.

100% apathetic. Couldn't care less what he's up to. Gave us some glory days, couldn't hack it in the Big Time, walked out. We are where we are, he is where he is. Move on, get over it.

Only thing worse than him going to Wednesday is him going to L**ds.

He is long gone and is barely a Blade anymore in my eyes.

Gets teams promoted fair enough but has always been out for number 1.

So who cares where he goes these days.

The interesting question is, what would have happened if the Wendy job had come up before Leeds. Would he ?

He is out for number 1 and if Manderic offered him enough tractors he would have taken the job.

You wouldn't catch real Blades blaming a bad result on the referee. The very idea!

Great respect for the man and a pleasure in person after bumping into himjust before he left for palace. I hope Leeds fail miserably though so I cant really wish him luck with this one.

Warnock sums up a lot of faults in football nowadays.

I watched the highlights of Leeds v Soton and was wondering where the Soton fans were (they weren't stuck in that poxy corner). I remember thinking the crowd was sparse, then I saw it was only 20k. That's piss poor. A new manager, playing the top team and Leeds handily placed. The only possible reason was that Uncle Ken made it a Category A game and tickets would have been £30+. How much longer do they think they can keep bleeding the fans dry?

The second point is, I haven't seen the QPR documentary yet but QPR (and now Leeds) had a perfect opportunity to 'do things differently'. The decision makers should have offered a contract based on 'if you get us to the Premier, you'll get a lump sum of, say £3m. Then we'll appoint a manager with proven PL experience'. It happens in other fields, so why not football?

Lastly, loyalty works both ways. All this 'kissing the badge' cobblers is embarrassing. We know players and managers are just whores who are only after number one. The only loyal people in football are the fans.

He was fired - he didn't walk.

He would surely have known that he would never have won their fans round - as would Manderic. Manderic would have been a fool to even offer him the job - and even if he had - NW wouldn't have taken it

He wasn`t fired, his contract expired and he was unable to reach agreement with his employer over Terms, there was an offer on the Table

Hes such a creep, he will get the bullet by next season`s end.

From the horse's mouth:

"Money has never entered into the conversation," he [Warnock] said at a press conference today. "Kevin McCabe and I sat down together on Monday because I had come to the decision that it was time for me to leave Sheffield United.

"I have been at the club for seven-and-a-half years and if anyone could turn the clock back to where we were then and how we are now, it is fair to say that we have come a long, long way. The club is geared towards continued success. I definitely think we'll be the favourites of the three clubs going down to come back up. In my opinion we have moved mountains - on and off the pitch - and have put the pride back into being a Blade."

Sad times though looking back at the series of shit decisions made by the board following Warnock's resignation.

Still don't understand why Unitedites obsess over him though. I'm willing to bet that it will Danny Wilson less time than it took Neil Warnock to achieve promotion to the Premier League.

For me, main thing is he`s gone.

Exactly my thoughts. The only thing which makes him look like an attractive option is the fact that he's better than Bryan Robson, Kevin Blackwell and Mickey Adams. Then again, not many managers could have been worse.

Long live Danny Wilson*

*I reserve the right to delete this in the event of a defeat at the Bescot tomorrow :D

Its about how many tractors with Warnock not who he supported as a lad.
