Nick made it. I don't know how to make thumbnails for videos. I'm just the eye candy.

True! In a recent poll of Sheff Utd Way viewers, when asked to describe Nick 0% said eye candy. When asked why not, 100% laughed louder than when Sunderland scored at the Rustadome.

Which shirts are your favourites? Give me 2 home and 2 away
1990 away - unique for its colour, 1991 away, loved the yellow and red with the black flash on one arm, 1996 home, 1992 home. 1996 was made by avec, another lesser known company, but was a nice home shirt. As for my worst ever, has to be that adidas home shirt 2020...horrible, too much white, followed closely by those avec made diamond ones in the mid 90s. 90s were great for many teams in terms of unique shirts, some more than others.

Away sounds nailed fluorescent yellow going off this…

Yeah I thought the same. Got to be, hasn't it? Any Blades away which is retro-influenced or said to give a nod to the past points straight to the flouro yellow. If you exclude black and white, we haven't used any particular colours for more than a couple of years. Maybe purple (4 times in 25 years) is the most common and no-one would associate it with us.

The home description seems to also give it away without giving it away. A "nod to previous home shirts" can't mean many things, so probably pinstripes? Maybe a collar? They know most fans want a return to tradition so it's unlikely to be controversial. Expecting simplicity, could be a classic if it's sleek.

As for the third, most obvious recent 'trends' have diluted so if I was to guess what NH means I'd say some kind of bold print / pattern. Something geometric similar to what Hummel have been doing with various clubs (Bristol City, Coventry etc) or maybe something a bit more futuristic rather than retro, more along the lines of New Balance's away shirt for Athletic Bilbao or Errea's own offerings for the Luxembourg national team:

All our Avec kits were templates.

The diamond was twinned with some Scottish team.
The retro one released this week was same as Sunderlands that same year
Kin ell
That’ll explain why I’m a pariah up here
All them Sunderland fans shelling out for a jersey that on close(r) inspection has ‘Sheffield United’ written in ‘shadow’ script down each red stripe 🤔

Third will be some bold pattern like you say. Possibly featuring ⚔️‘s or Bramall Lane inspired.

If they‘d listen to fans then it‘ll have black pin stripes…….

Has anyone made the Di-Errea joke yet?
